I was skeptical when I got the c2. But after using it on my 24k gal pool, this thing does amazing on my vinyl pool. I even threw napkins dirt ,grass just to see if it would pick all that stuff and it did. I think the c2 without the vision is excellent. Didn't get the mission just because I saw that it was mostly a gimmick and didn't do a great job searching for dirt.

So far, this robot pool cleaner has been working well. It does a good job picking up dirt and debris on the bottom of the pool, as well as grime stuck to the sides. It's pretty much a set and forget, where you just turn it on and let it do its thing. It does get stuck at times around the stairs, and has trouble with larger objects like acorns and small rocks. The mapping could be improved since it doesn't seem to get every part of the pool floor, but it gets most of it. The app is pretty basic, but lets you change the cleaning modes and set different cycles. I'm happy with it overall and find it to be much more convenient to use then a manual vacuum.

After years of dealing with tangled hoses, suction-side cleaners that get stuck, and skimming the surface myself more often than I’d like to admit, I decided it was time to upgrade. I went with the new WYBOT C2 cordless robotic cleaner, and overall, it’s been a huge step up in terms of convenience and cleaning power. The first thing I noticed right out of the box was how compact and well-designed it is. It feels solid and not like a cheap piece of plastic. There’s no cord—none at all—which was a huge selling point for me. That alone eliminates one of the biggest frustrations of traditional pool vacuums. You just charge it up, drop it in the water, and let it go to work. This little robot is surprisingly strong. It pulls in debris like leaves, sand, bugs, and even small twigs with no issue. The dual filter system seems to trap both large and fine particles pretty effectively, and the filter compartment is large enough that I don’t have to clean it out constantly. After a long run, I just lift the robot out, pop the filter open, rinse it with a hose, and it’s ready to go again. Super easy. Where it really shines is in its ability to climb the walls and clean the waterline. I honestly didn’t think it would work as well as it does, but it navigates vertical surfaces smoothly and stays in contact long enough to scrub off the grime that collects around the top of the pool. It doesn't just spin in circles or bounce off steps—there’s some actual logic to how it moves. After a couple of cleanings, it seemed to learn the shape of my pool and started working more efficiently, covering more ground in less time. Battery life is impressive. I get close to 3 hours of runtime, which is more than enough to do a full clean of my pool in one go. I run it every few days, and I never feel like I’m falling behind on maintenance anymore. And when the battery runs low, it automatically drives itself to the edge for easy removal. No fishing it out with a pole or diving in to get it. That said, it’s not completely perfect. The app that connects to the robot can be a little clunky at times. Occasionally it takes a few tries to sync, and some of the custom cleaning mode options aren’t super intuitive. But once it's set up and running, I rarely need to use the app beyond checking the battery or switching a mode. Also, while it does a great job on most walls and waterline areas, there were a couple of times it missed a spot or two, especially around tight corners or steps—but nothing that would make me reconsider the purchase. If I had to nitpick one more thing, it would be that it’s on the higher end of the price range. But honestly, for the amount of time and energy it saves me, I’m okay with the investment. Between the quiet operation, strong suction, wall-climbing ability, and truly cordless convenience, it’s the best cleaner I’ve used to date. If you want a robot that takes pool cleaning off your plate—without cords, hoses, or babysitting—the WYBOT C2 is a solid choice. It does what it claims, looks great, and gives you that feeling of having a perfectly clean pool without lifting a finger. A few quirks here and there, but overall, a smart and worthwhile upgrade.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really wanted to know the differences in how this would perform in my pool vs the other Wybot models directly below and above it. I have had good experiences with both and the C2 did not disappoint me at all. Overall this is a great cleaner with very good navigation, and exceptional battery life. Works well: It worked in my pool flawlessly through several test runs. It had no problem getting the entire pool clean on one cycle and did not run out of battery life before uit finished like a lot of cordless cleaners seem to do. Durability: It's hard to rate durability on a product that I haven't owned for a long time, but what I can say is it feels like it's built well and I experienced zero problems or malfunctions of any kind during several tests. Even the app ran smoothly! Time saver: This saves so much time over manually vacuuming your pool. The key with any of these though is to stay ahead of cleaning. All pool cleaners are meant to maintain a relatively clean pool and keep it that way. If you start with a pond you're still gonna need to do some manual labor. Picks up debris: As far as debris it picked up everything in the pool during every test and I gave it some extra to pick up on purpose. It picked up leaves, pebbles, dirt from my planters that I intentionally through into the pool as a challenge of sorts, it even sucked all the dog hair stuck to the drains and that was with the drains on and working against it! Design: The design of this cleaner is exceptional, it stands out as one of the best overall cleaners in this price range that I have tested. Even the app is designed well and functions flawlessly which is often not the case with many app controlled pool cleaners. All things considered this is a really excellent cleaner and offers a great value in this range of pool cleaners!
