I was pleased with this set. I looked for a long time because I wanted a knife that was all one piece and not riveted or glued at the handle. These are very sharp, the block is nice, and the variety is great. Only thing I would say I don’t like as much is the weight. They are very light and I’m used to heavier knives. But they clean easily. I just got them so I haven’t experienced the rust issues that others talked about but I’m also not going to put them in the dishwasher to try and avoid that. Over all, it is a great set for the price! Very happy with my purchase!

So far I've had these for about 2 months. They are a beautiful set and look great in the block. Now I'm no chef, live alone, and can't stand cooking. But once in a while I get bug to actually make something. In the three previous years I only had a cheapo set. It served me well enough, only it didn't have steak knives. I got them on Prime day in July have used a handful of times. Still mostly the steak knives. I have no qualms. I do leave in the sink and not immediately wash after use. No I'm not talking days, just a couple hours later. I do run a dry cloth over them and immediately put away as I don't care for the thought of putting dishes away and being stabbed. Maybe some point later after more use and maybe learning to sharpen them I will update. Speaking of sharp, I found they were right out of the box.

We were looking for sharp knives and we found them. I have accidentally cut my finger twice using these knives. So has another family member. A dinner guest was also cut. They slice through steak like butter... Fingers too... We got these knives during a sale so the value for the money was great. I did not keep the knife storage block. It looked fine but I didn't want my knives out on the counter. Overall, this is a great set. Really great. Sharpest knives I've ever used. Just be aware that the manufacturer suggests hand washing these knives (which can be dangerous 😂)

These were relatively inexpensive (as opposed to some of my Japanese knives which are, frankly, works of art I don't want to use as every-day kitchen knives) and are VERY good knives. Nice knife block, too. Highly recommended.

I have been hoping to replace the cheap cheap cheap knives I got back in college and have been using for the last 20 years. They only work because of the serration and wouldn’t cut your skin for just about anything. I picked up a different set before this and was disappointed, they felt cheap, and had some non stick coating which I hate due to how toxic it is supposed to be. I gave it one more try and ordered these. WOW! I could not be happier. It has a great selection of blades, a beautiful wood block, a nice stainless steel look (which they make sure to tell you does not mean you can mistreat them and they will not suffer - wash and dry every time). Out of the box they are simply awesome and very sharp. The metal blade and handle is all a single piece, so they will not break apart of have a handle fall off. These are gorgeous, well made, and very sharp. Awesome set and I cannot say enough! Highly recommended if you are looking for your forever knives.
