Its hard to take a picture of this stuff, best description is like the soft side of velcro, the fuzzy side, but made stiff. It's not non abrasive but I think this will still provide grip but then give way before it eats your shoe the way sandpaper does. Seems like a way better idea than the rubber grip which is totally useless once it gets even a little dusty but this gecko stuff seems like it will be prone to clogging and probably cant be cleaned. Take some time to see if it lasts more than a couple sessions. ... show more

Was not so sure about the grip tape when I first learned about it, but decided to give it a try. Was very surprised to find that it worked really well! Probably the best part about this grip tape is that it doesn’t wear your shoe down like regular grip tape does… it does feel a little weird the first few times you use it, as it has a little soft feeling to it, but once you get used to it, you don’t notice it at all. Seems to be lasting pretty well, but only had it for a little while , so only time will tell. Love the new take on an old idea! ... show more

Wow.. interesting. i got this because I was curious what the texture felt like. It's almost like the rough part of the velcro strap.. but it's slightly shorter and a little bit more dense. Hard to describe. But it doesn't feel like it'll really hurt my shoes. I'm even thinking about getting this as a grip to use on my pistols. Sometimes I use normal skate tape to add grip there, but this would do a great job as well. It didn't come with the braille logo on mine, it's just straight black. Not a big deal ... show more

The grip tape showed up in a long box so it wasn’t rolled up or folded, which was great. It has a slightly raised texture but is not abrasive. More like a rubber material which won’t wear your shoes out like typical grip tape does. This is a huge plus for me. The tape was easy to cut, easy to apply and sticks to the board nicely. I love the braille youtube channel and I’ve heard good things about their cheap walmart decks, so i thought I’d try this grip out. It’s definitely weird since it’s rubbery and not sandpapery, but it feels just as grippy as normal grip tape. Just takes some getting used to. Also, unlike normal grip, you can leave it rolled up for a while before applying and you don’t get those lines in it that lead to bubbling when applied to a deck. ... show more

Braille Skateboarding grip tape arrived rolled in a box. It's sized to fit a single, traditional skateboard. This grip tape is rubber with small dots which create the grip, as opposed to other grip tapes that have more of a sandpaper-like consistency. The rubber is easy to trim and the adhesive on the backside is extremely tacky. I'm using it in my home gym to create a grippy surface to assist with ring row exercises. ... show more
