This was a great deal for $35. My little dogs like the bedroom to be around 72 degrees once cold weather hits. The past couple of years I’ve used a small forced air heater to keep them comfortable. But it runs my electric bill up around $30 extra a month. A little research enlightened me that ceramic heaters use about a third of the energy to operate. The functions are practical, the flame is cozy to look at and the size is perfect. There is a strong hot plastic smell for the first few hours of operation. But it does go away. If you are sensitive to smells, maybe let it run in a room you’re not using for a few hours. Otherwise it’s a great heater that keeps my 300sq ft bedroom toasty warm. ... show more

This is a small very good infrared heater. My computer room is on the north side of my house and it gets really cold in the room at times because I also have a lot of windows. This little heater sits by my chair and keeps my legs and feet toasty. Sometimes I have to put my hands in front of it to warm my hands, and I'm glad I have this heater. It's nice too because you can press a button and it looks sort of like a fireplace burning in it. I do recommend it for a small area. ... show more

I just received the space heater this week. I wanted to give it a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the remote control doesn't work. I thought it just might be the battery had died, so I replaced it and the remote is still not working. So if the remote was a major selling point for you, beware. Otherwise, the product is good. It warms our bedroom up nicely which is desperately needed since our cheap landlord refuses to fix the heat that isn't working. The fireplace aesthetic is also a nice touch. ... show more

I’m very happy I bought two of theses small heaters 1 for my home & 1 for my sons home we love the tilt shut off safety feature plus the remote control is wonderful where ever u sit n the room that the heater is n u can power it on set temperature even turn on flames & the oscillator distributes the heat evenly in the room . Keeps u warm on cold nights . I love mine . Excellent little heater! We liked ours so much that we bought our brother-in-law one. It was about $49. Our son wanted one, so imagine my surprise when I came back to my original purchase ONLY 3 months ago and find that the price has gone up by about 120%!! I like this heater so much, I bought a second one. It really does put out heat and effectively heats up a bedroom no problem. I like that the temperature settings go all the way up to 90. The rotation is nice and the special "fireplace" effect my daughter's love. The remote is also a very nice bonus. I have bought several heaters over the years that were disappointments. Needed a small space heater to warm a basement room during these winter months. For the price, heat output (which quickly heats up and blows hot air within twenty seconds or so!), features and size worked out perfectly. Kids love the small fireplace display on it, as they play games and watch TV/movies down there. I'm hoping a version 2.0 is released one day - that would add WiFi connection, so I could check on the temperature using a phone app when I'm not down there.
