Why did you pick this product vs others?: My daughter chose this backpack because of the cuteness factor. It lasted her through 7th and 8th grades and she was pretty tough on it. The inside little pocket tore right away. I don't remember how she did that. But the rest of the backpack held up nicely carrying heavy books, pencil pouches, etc. She really stuffed it. For the price it's a solid purchase.

This girls backpack was bought for our 7 year old. I was a little skeptical about ordering a backpack online. It's always nice to try it on at the store and see how it feels. However, when this backpack arrived we all said, "wow, nice!". It has wonderful quality, it's built to last and SO many compartments. It has a place for anything and everything. The water/drink holder on the side is deep and thick for the extra large water bottle our daughter transports to school daily. I wish this side compartment for the drink was a mesh material though to avoid water inside. I have to thoroughly dry the water bottle each day to prevent wetness/mold. The side compartment for the water bottle is not easy to dry. However, the overalI outside polyester material of the backpack drys rather quickly from a short time in the rain. It's also nice and large in size. It seemed so much smaller in the photos so we were surprised. I would highly recommend this product and we are super impressed. I expect her to use it for multiple years. Although there are so many designs to choose from and affordable in price we will most likely be buying more backpacks too.

I bought the black and pale pink, 21 L size backpack for my daughter. It was just the right size for middle school. It looks very nice, and it has lots of pockets. She really likes it. It got a slightly lower rating from me because two months into the school year, the strap looped at the top of the bag and one of the shoulder straps have ripped free. It didn’t rip the bag, but the stitching was minimal (only one line of stitches holding the strap to the backpack) and couldn’t withstand the weight of her books. The other shoulder strap is starting to rip at the seam as well. It’s not a huge problem for me because I just took it to a local seamstress to resew the straps and reinforce them. I think once I get the backpack back, it will be OK for the rest of the year. Just want to let other customers know what to expect. Still a nice backpack overall. Update: not long after I wrote this review, another front, smaller pocket tore. The pocket's bottom material's just not super sturdy. The backpack looks nice, though I don't think I can repair this bottom pocket. It's unfortunate since it's less than half way through the school year.

I was looking for a backpack with deep side pockets for my large thermos and water bottle. I found it! This has deep side pockets with safety straps. Easy access pocket for phone or other electronics. Lightweight material, seems like quality work. I would recommend this backpack. My only suggestion would be to make sure the ends of the straps are melts with some heat. Mine seemed to be starting to fray, but it was easily fixed with a lighter.
