I just did some updates on my launch elite v2.0 code reader. This is really a awesome bi- directional scanner with all the bells and whistle included in a smaller scanner at a great price. From the lifetime free updates, to the built-in wifi as well as the built-in store front app, so you can purchase different vehicle scanning softwares. The body of tge scanner is constructed very well and is comfortable while holdingin hznd during usage. The scanner is very user friendly even for novice people such as myself. The Kingbolden TPMS, was free gift from the seller. I was very surprised when the seller reach out to me about this TPMS product. I haven't had a chance to use it, but it also seems to be built-very well. I included pictures on both product. I'd like to personally Thank Lily from Kingbolen. The communication from this company is outstanding and I highly recommend this store/company to all who is in the market for scanning tools etc...... I definitely will be purchasing more from this seller.

Wow, I cannot say enough great things about this scanner! Packaging was excellent and a carrying case was provided. The device seems durable in construction and came fully charged with an OBD2 cable and instruction pamphlets. Setup/customizability was a breeze, and capacitive touch is excellent. After installing the software updates I was ready to perform diagnosis on my BMW within minutes. I was blown away by the numerous information that was uncovered from my vehicle included hidden/stored codes as well as precise, detailed diagnostic info relevant to fault codes! (For example I had an ABS light on and the scan tool immediately led me right to the rear left wheel speed sensor which was faulty and triggered the code). I am very excited to play around with the coding/programming features as well as I learn more about the extensive capabilities of this scanner. Will continue to update my review with feedback as necessary!

This is a incredible value. Works great just wish it had a bigger screen. Takes a bit to learn how to operate it but once you got the basics it's amazing. You will not be disappointed in any way.

Good morning LAUNCH. I'm a professional Automotive Diagnostician and Technician. Very recently I purchased a LAUNCH X431 Elite scanner just for German Vehicles' BATTERY registrations; however, I was not able to register the battery on my 2011 BMW 550i Xdrive.. I downloaded all the updates for the LAUNCH X431. Am I missing something🤔?. Would you help me please!.

The scanner is great! This one is specific for Mercedes and BMW car, but you can buy one for whatever car you need it. It’s packed with lots of features not found on other cars at this price range. Better than most of scanners for which you must pay hundreds of dollars more. It’s a bi-directional scanner, so you can test lots of systems/components with it. I ran tests and special functions on my BMW Z3 Roadster and my Mercedes E320 Bluetec (diesel) and found codes not detected by more expensive scanner. Just keep in mind that is for cars manufactured after 1996 and older cars will not have all the functions that this scanner can handle. It’s an absolute great tool to diagnose and work on your cars, or just to make sure they don’t charge for things that are not needed when you take the car to a shop. Lily, their customer rep is simply awesome! She answers any questions you my have and gets fast response from LAUNCH engineers, if needed. Buy with confidence, you won’t regret it!

I would have given 5 stars to this scanner but for the fact that This consumer grade model comes in 3 models: 01H, 03H, 05H which allow either 1, 3 or 5 car manufacture programs to be installed; i.e Ford Chrysler, GM or VAG. The model I got was a 01H which is progammed for VAG cars ONLY and cannot be expanded to include Ford cars no matter what. So for what it is, it worked great. I just wish the marketing hype would have disclosed this limitation. I only learned about the 3 models by going to the company website AFTER I couldn't download additional programs. So if you're cool paying $150 for a dedicated scanner that can only be used on VAG products, buy this thing. Otherwise if you want more flexiblity to use your Ford for example, keep shopping.

This tool is fast and has almost as many functions for euros as the PAD V at a fraction of the price. Included pics of special functions available on a 2014 Audi Q7 TDI for example. It’s perfect for resets and system scans. Also, with lifetime free updates, I don’t have to worry about keeping it up to date. Highly recommend!
