My new favorite charger. I was skeptical that something so small could push 20 amps, but according to the built in display it regularly hits 16A+. The fan moves a lot of air, but it's not crazy loud like my 10A chargers. I can feel it moving a good bit of heat and it turns off when it's not attached to anything. Main thing I'm happy about is it doesn't do a mandatory 10 minute desulfation/testing cycle at the beginning of every charge like one of my 10A chargers does. Sometimes it doesn't matter but sometimes I want to start charging immediately. I also appreciate having some control over the charge current, something omitted from a lot of "smart" chargers these days. I can select 5A, 10A, or 20A for 12v batteries. This is exactly what I was looking for. The only con I can think of is that the charge percentage seems to mean nothing and it usually just flashes 80% or 100% regardless. I can get a good enough idea by the charge voltage and current so I don't mind that much.

I like this charger, its small, fairly priced, and easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the advertised 20 amps. I like many others have never been able to get more than 16.6 amps from mine. I think this is better than most. I truly believe this is a 15 amp charger and it was over rated at 20 amps. That actually makes sense and in that case it perform better than advertised. If they advertised it as a 15 amp their ratings would go up.

Like all similar chargers, they do a lot, but it is hard to evaluate how well they are working. Is my battery actually in better shape after the "repair" cycle has been completed? Is trickle charging beneficial for long term battery storage in hot climates? Let's assume they do, but I'd like to see an automatic battery selection function so I don't accidentally charge an AGM battery on the Lithium setting. I would also like to see a 12V SAE Terminal connection included on the cable clamp wires so I can just plug in the charger instead of finding the battery terminals.

I use this to charge my LifePO4 batteries for my 36-volt trolling motor. I charge them one-at-a-time, and it seems to charge them up in 30-45 minutes from 25%-50% discharge. I like this charger.

So far it has been a great 15 amp charger. Unfortunately it advertises itself as 20 amp, and I haven’t been able to achieve that even with a large mostly dead deep cycle 12v battery. Taking away one star because it is loud and doesn’t achieve it’s advertised current.

I was a little skeptical when I ordered it only because you never know. I have to say I’m extremely impressed with how well it’s made and how well it works. I bought it to charge two new lifepo4 lithium batteries to replace my old lead acid trolling motor batteries. What a great charger!! Not sure what others who claim it’s loud are talking about. I’m not using it in my bedroom or sleeping next to it! Sometimes you just need to take some of those reviews with a grain of salt. Anyway, I definitely would recommend this charger.
