although there were no instructions it is very easy to figure out which bolts go where based on their size. I was concerned about making sure I had enough lift height since I was removing a 5.7L from a deck boat and this thing worked perfectly. The engine leveler was key to making this a 15 minute job (of course not counting the hours to disconnect the engine from the boat). I would highly recommend this hoist and now using it as the engine stand to break everything down. ... show more
