The functionality of pulling this out of your back pocket and being able to take notes on the spot is very helpful. My teenage daughter is very much into art, both digital and on paper. She was wanting ways to do more drawing so she primarily uses the iPad (which she saved up for, and bought with her own money) for that. She does stream movies as well but art and streaming movies is just about all she uses it for. She loves the size, weight, and color of it as well as the amount of storage space.
