I wasn't surprised and actually predicted that they would split. This time I went with the blue ones which were slightly more expensive. I was really surprised that these hoses feel a little more durable. It was definitely a tighter fit than the white one, which was great. These hoses are no good. The material is cheap and flimsy. They crack at the connection points causing significant leaking of the pool water. If you're lucky, you'll discover it before you burn up your pool pump.
