Though I did originally buy this for a golf cart (event rental - one time use), I ULTIMATELY have been using them for years as night lights in my kids rooms. They are great! We use them dimmed as low as they will go, and they are on all night every night - the batteries last a LONG time on dim. Usually a couple weeks. They are excellent for traveling as well - In hotel rooms I usually put one by the kids and one in the bathroom so they can find their way. They've held up for years now! ... show more

We bought a 2024 Evolution D5 Ranger 2+2 golf cart recently, or rather an LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) as we don't play golf. It is loaded with amenities but one thing it did not have is a dome light. I ordered 2 of these, one above the front seats and one above the rear seats. They put out enough light but to turn them on/off one must press the center of the light. That works fine but when mounted, the plastic LSV roof "gives" a little so I cannot turn them on/off. Not a fault of the lamps at all. I ordered different LED lamps with the pushbutton on the side. I use these lamps in other rooms so as to not turn on the big light. Pressing the center works well in these rooms as I don't have to "feel" for an on/off button. ... show more

These lights work wonderful as dome lights in our Madjax golf cart. Easy to set up with 3 AAA batteries, then it has automotive double face tape. We attached them to our roof on our cart./
