These work great! I’m new to bread baking and so have never used a sling, but this was easy and they clean up easy. The size is perfect for my loafs, and have not found them to be sticky at all!

Good quality but not the most functional. Hard to get the lid on with the straps out. They get hot and hard to grab with oven mitts on. If my bread expands too much off the pad it still touched the side of the Dutch oven and then sticks to it so I use parchment paper always

I got into baking sourdough almost 2 years ago. I had seen these cool silicone bread slings on a popular sourdough account but they were sorta expensive for only 1 sling. Since I wasn't sure if I'd stick with sourdough baking, I found this product instead. More affordable and came with 2 in case you are baking 2 loaves at once. It basically replaces the parchment paper that a lot of bakers use. They absolutely work and make it really easy to lift your bread in/out of the piping hot dutch oven (still wear gloves though, the silicone gets hot!). Great for all sorts of bread! I’ve used these for years with yeast “no knead” recipes and recently for sourdough. They clean up great and fit perfectly in a 5.5 quart or 6 quart Dutch oven. I use a silicone trivet underneath for sourdough and the bread comes out great. I also sprinkle a little rice flour on before placing my boule. I bake at 450 and have never noticed any changes in these. I appreciate the grade of silicone these are, they’re a fantastic price for a good quality silicone. Highly recommend! ... show more
