We bought these for our light/fan bulbs. Instead of screwing the fan lights into a light socked we used these to put the light fan anywhere we needed them. They are great to have also to put lights where you need them. We liked them so much we bought them 2x’s.

For the price, pretty well constructed. I like the smaller footprint of these vs. a regular light socket that needs a box to work. I used them for a VBS project and they worked perfectly. Thank you.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good, basic light socket and cord combo, perfect for standard household LED or 65-watt or lower incandescent bulbs. The design is simple and clean – just what I was looking for. The black finish blends in well, and the base is surprisingly stable, so I don't have to worry about it tipping over. I especially appreciate the long 15-foot cord, which gives me a lot of flexibility in placement. The bulb screwed in easily and feels very secure; it sits perfectly straight in the socket with no tilt. The on/off switch operates smoothly and quietly with no annoying clicks. The fluid action feels much nicer than some cheaper switches. My only minor wish is that it was made of ceramic and could handle higher-wattage bulbs. I mistakenly tried to use my 135-watt spiral photography bulb, which obviously isn't safe, but that's my fault for not checking the specs! However, for my typical 9-watt LED bulbs, it's absolutely perfect. Check the wattage of your intended bulbs, not the equivalent. A nice bonus is the included bracket, which allows you to mount the socket to a wall or ceiling if needed. Lightweight screws and anchors are included, though some may want to upgrade these. Overall, if you're looking for a simple, reliable, and affordable light socket for LED bulbs, this is a solid choice. Just be mindful of the bulb wattage limitations. I needed a simple solution to add some hanging lights to my room, and these light socket cords definitely fit the bill. They were super easy to install—just screw in the bulb and plug it in; the on/off switch is a nice touch. I’ve used these for a few weeks now, and they work perfectly for my needs: creating some cozy, ambient lighting. I also like how long the cords are, allowing for flexible placement. You can literally install them anywhere you can screw in a couple of screws, or, you can just have it sitting on your desk, if you want. I got these to use first at our 80s dance for the black lights. The location we're using doesn't have standard sockets, so we couldn't install blacklights into what's already there. So, I'm bringing the sockets and blacklights. Then, after the dance, we're installing one in our temporary living room 5th-wheel extension (until we build our home), so that we can install a socket ceiling fan to help move the warm wood-stove air around the space. And I'm using the other one to add extra light in a corner of our space. I love the length of the cord so that you can make it functional in most spaces! I love that the switch is closer to the plug than the light, so it's easily accessible. I love that it even has a switch!!! I love the type of switch, so you don't have to look at a word or symbol and push the right on/off button. I love that it comes with screws and wall anchors, the green things. I love that the openings on the wall mount are vertical and horizontal, keeping the mount from sliding one way or the other. It's just the little things like that attention to detail that are important! If they were both horizontal openings, the base could slide from side to side. Both vertical, they could slide up and down. But having one each direction keeps the base secure in one spot. Highly recommend! Happy Shopping!
