The price point is good, and flavor seems good. We have crappy city tap water and I drink a lot of water on a daily basis. These filters are much like the Pur brand, and I'm not positive, but I did run them under water for a minute (like the Pur brand recommends) before installing it in the container. The fit is great but for some reason it doesn't fill the bottom half of the dispenser to the top, there is about a 2" gap from the waterline to the top reservoir insert. It's only bothersome because it takes a few minutes for water to filter so I constantly check it to see where it's at because I like to keep it full. ... show more

We previously bought the one that had the extra piece on the bottom, and water took forever to filter. We decided to buy these without the bottom filter piece, and it is so much better. I am not real pleased with these. The product was larger with my previous orders of the same item. When I used these new ones, the water ran through the filter much faster. That in itself is a flag. To me, that would indicate the filtering wasn't as good. There is no information to indicate a change in size or efficiency. ... show more
