Newly renovated my bathroom and didn’t want to put a permanent rail up at this time. Although the bar goes on the wall with extreme suction I do not have my mom pull her self up from the shower bench with it. It has come loose at times. I mainly use it for her to hold for balance when she is standing. Eventually I will probably need to put up a permanent tail which is more secure for her to pull herself up. Tip for securing to wall. Make sure you don’t put it over the grout lines of the tile and wet the suction cups to make sure their isn’t any grit on them before applying to the wall. Otherwise you may have a hard time getting a good suction.

I ordered two sets of these. One of the surfaces was in a plastic shower stall which worked great; the other was ceramic tile which you cannot rely on to put your weight on and which also pops off on its own after several days.

Our sliding door inexplicable does not have an external handle so we bought these. They work great! Super easy to put on and hold securely. They don’t look great with this application, but tolerable and certainly better than replacing hardware. They seem to withstanding some harsh weather well too.

This is the second pair I've purchased. If you've ever looked into having handicapped bars installed, you will understand what a miracle these grip handles are. On the first set, I thought how could they possibly grip that well? THEY TRULY DO!! Best part, my mom decided she wanted them moved a little, no problem. We can put them wherever she wants them, as her needs change. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a little extra support in the shower

We have a vinyl shower with a little bit of slight Orange Peel to it and these stick to it although if you've got a pattern in your walls like squares you might be able to fit the pad within one square but the other pad might overlap two other squares so you'll get a good adherence with one but on the other side you won't get a good adherence. However, just having one attached at least gives you some stability when you're trying to grip on to something that's attached to the walls of your shower. We put the other one on the shower glass and it adheres great obviously on both of the pads but you have to remember that you're not using these to pull yourself up or to pull all your weight. These are used to study yourself or help you get up or steady yourself. So far they've been working great I'm very happy with him.
