Note: this review is being written after my second season of using them. What I liked about these lights: the red and green are nice and bright. But are true red and true green, not like other LED lights that look neon. What I LOVE about these lights: —-Through two seasons of wind, heat, frost, frozen, snow - not a single light stopped working. No awkward gaps in lighting. (We live outside of Chicago. This Christmas season the temps swung from 60 to -10). (This year one of the strings did break, one of the wires snapped when I was taking down — but in fairness stupidly I was trying to do it in frigid weather. I’m sure the wire was frozen so as I pulled it was easy to snap). —the coupler system of connecting the lights is AMAZING. SO GOOD! NO MORE DUCT TAPE wrapped around the connections to strings to keep it safe from water sneaking in. And it comes with a few extra plain extender cords so it makes it so easy to string them together without having any obnoxious single strings hanging through branches when you don’t want lights in that section. I like them so much I just bought 4 more sets to make sure I have enough to expand my display next year. — ... show more

These lights are great and I got several sets. Very warm white, very nice brightness. The connections at the beginning and end of the light string have little sleeves that screw on which I think will keep them properly waterproofed which is a very nice plus. The detachable extension cord at the start of each light string is also great. One downside, they don't have pass-through plugs like the typical green ones, meaning you can't plug in another light string starting from the same outlet as the first light string. (You can plug one string in at the *end* of the previous string, and that is working fine. You just can't start two strings from the same place.) Because of that I needed to install an outlet splitter for the location I wanted. Also the power adapters are kind of large and won't fit in side by side on an outlet splitter. Nevertheless, they look GREAT and I think they will last a long time (I'll update if they don't). One other cautionary note, I foolishly attached one light string to a power adapter from a completely different light set (a green power adapter from another company from another year), and burned that string out instantly. These use less power than some other strings so don't try to use it with a different adapter. That was my fault, though, so it's still a five star product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are exactly what I was looking for! They add a hint of magic to our outdoor lights. I used regular clear/white lights first on all the bushes and doorway. Then I ran these on twinkle mode over them sparingly. I bought 2 of the 2 pack 400 lights which actually has 2 strands of 200 each. That was enough to add twinkles to this whole setup. They are easy to connect and don't have a gap between the stands like normal lights do If I didn't have the other lights underneath they wouldn't have been long enough on their own. I would have never several more for reach but this was a great alternative to save on money and still get the illusion. They are bright and the perfect warm white. You can't tell the difference between my incandescent white lights and these. Don't judge me, I'm an old school traditionalist on lights (not including the yard lights my son asked me for lol) They also stay on the mode they were on last when they turn back on. We only put them up yesterday so they haven't been tested in weather or long term yet. I also didn't use any timer feature because they are hooked up to my outdoor time for all lights. I connected 2 stands together on each circuit. I'm obsessed and will buy more in every length and color combo to find excuses to use year round. Probably going to get another strand or two ASAP for our Christmas tree! ... show more

I was charged for the lights I returned. They issued a replacement set for the ones I returned, but still charged me because they said I never returned them. Both sets of lights didn't work for more than a week. Sadly disappointed. Had them on Christmas tree. Definitely look elsewhere. Not worth the money! ... show more
