I purchased two lamps as my bedroom lighting was poor. When the lamps arrived, I was surprised that they had to be assembled--including the shades! The assembling of the stand was simple but I was afraid that assembling the shades was going to be another story. HOWEVER--it was a piece of cake! The shades were just plain flat pieces of "shade material." Two rings, one large and the other smaller, clipped onto the top and bottom of the flat shade material and to complete the circle, the two ends are held together with very strong velcro! They lamps are height adjustable and each of the lamps comes with a light bulb. The light they give off is lovely--soft white light--and they appear to be very sturdy. They look great, they work great, and the assemblage was easy. These are a keeper!

I was admittedly shaken when the box arrived because of its small size. "Oh no," I thought. But upon opening the box, I found the contents extremely well packaged and I resisted an urge to tape it closed and return it. Instead I unboxed the parts and followed the simple assembly instructions. The bases are heavy so the lamps don't tip even at the tallest extended height. The finish is clean, no mars. And the shades, while I assumed the hook and loop (Velcro-type) "seam" would look tacky, it in fact looked neat and more subtle than traditional stitches. The "on/off" pull chain works solidly and the variety and brightness of light temperature from the included bulbs suits any degree of ambience desired. I have used the lamps for two months now on the bedside stands waiting for an imperfection to surface, but instead I have grown to love them more every day. The style, versatility and quality have made this one of my more enjoyable Amazon purchases!

These lamps are wonderful. Comes with bulbs, but I used my own which were brighter and better efficiency. Using in a bedroom and the adjustable heights gave me good options for location. Nice for a variety of rooms and does not look cheap.

Nearly perfect! I was skeptical ordering lamps you had to "assemble" but... these were a breeze to put together! They arrive completely packaged as in each little piece is totally wrapped & protected. I was also worried about a lampshade you had to assemble. I worried that the shade would be crushed or wrinkled but these shades are rather thick and came packaged flat so you basically have 2 rings - a top small ring and a bottom larger ring & the shade is cut so that when you roll it around the rings and clamp it with the built in hooks that it stays in place. The lamps also came with bulbs which was nice since bulbs are rather expensive. The best part is - the bulbs are 3 way. They offer warm light, cool light, and fluorescent style light. I also loved that these are adjustable. My left nightstand is different than the right side nightstand due to space. Having an adjustable lamp meant I could place them on the nightstands and they would look like they were the same height which was great. I gave 4 stars and withheld 1 star because these do not have a USB port for plugging in a phone or charger. If they had that, they would be a solid 5 stars. Oh, and they're really pretty!!!

I needed something inexpensive and cute to outfit our new guest room and these work perfectly. It's a small space so my endtables were also small and needed lamps that wouldn't overwhelm the space or look too small. Honestly the lamps were one of the hardest things to find as they add the finishing touch. Seems like every lamp now has USB ports but a lot are on the front making the base look ugly in my opinion. My end tables have USB ports so that feature wasn't important to me and I really didn't want to see them. I loved that these can be raised up and down so I could adjust for exact height I wanted. The 3 levels are brightness are nice....photos I attached show them on each level. I think if I was using these daily the fact that after each level turns on, when you pull again it turns off would drive me a bit nuts. So to get to highest brightness you have to pull the chain 5 times. I debated a touch lamp but couldn't find one i liked and was worried it wouldn't work great as some are janky. The pull chain is kinda cute, base is sturdy and weighted nicely so it doesn't move when pulled. The operation is fine for my guest room that won't get used much. The shades come rolled up and you get a round frame for top and bottom to snap it onto, was easy to put together. Had each lamp assembled in about 5 minutes. They work great, look nice and under $60 for two lamps was great. I recommend 👌

These lamps are beautiful, sturdy and a bargain for the price! My lamps came with a black cord (shown in attached picture) and not a silver cord as shown and mentioned in another review, which tells me the manufacture pays attention to feedback. The weighted base is solid and sturdy with flannel under the base to protect surfaces. I appreciate the look and feel of the pull cord piece that controls the 3-way bulb. I thought it would be plastic but it’s actually metal and looks fabulous with its sleek design. All the pieces of the lamp fit together perfectly when my husband and I assembled them. The lamp shades fit perfectly along the rings so that the Velcro came together evenly and securely. It was a very quick and easy assembly! These lamps match perfectly with our decor. Everything I’d seen from other sellers was either black, silver or gold so I was extremely happy when I finally scrolled to these lamps! These lamps are perfect!
