The old dome light in our bedroom died because the wiring was so old. We had to have a flush mount due to our ceilings being so low. There were only two requirements I wanted. 1.) A modern non-dome looking light and 2.) After researching, I wanted a light that used screw in light bulb. I had read multiple reviews and discussion boards where people installed light fixtures that used the LED panels, and some lights began to failed 6 months to a year. I really did not want to have to shut the power off, and replace the entire unit; when I can just replace a few bulbs. I didn't realize that it would be so hard to find a modern looking light fixture that still used screw in light bulbs. We went to the two (well known) home improvement stores and all they had were dome boob looking lights and a HUGE selection of LED panel lights. So, to Amazon we went and I found this light fixture!!! It is flush mount, modern looking, easy to install, and uses LIGHT BULBS. We put LED lights in and it is beautiful and bright! Additionally, this light has a glass cover! Some other lights I found on Amazon had cheap plastic covers, which you had to read carefully in the description of the product. You can see the lightbulbs clearly they the glass cover. I didn't notice this in the ad photo. Very easy install. I replaced my ceiling fan w/ light, with this flush mount light. It's very pretty against my white ceiling. One person can handle install. Use LED bulbs only and max 20W ( led). My spiral bulbs don't show thru but they are no longer being sold. The insert reads " LED bulb only ". I'm very happy with this fixture and my room is very well lit now. Delivery very quick. Great price. 2 yr limited warranty. It is dimmable. ... show more

Good looking light. Went up easily and looks great. I had to go a bit vintage to get away from the prewire LED flush mounts as the light was entirely too intense. 2 40-watt bulbs and the bath is softly lit and the cover is inconspicuous. Perfect.

Replaced an old ceiling fixture that required expensive tubes. This was very easy to install. Hooked right into the box screws and tightened down. All parts there and worked. Gives off a lot of light and not the tubes to worry about.

This light fixture was easy to install and looks nice. However, it does not provide the amount of light that I had hoped for .... it said to only put in bulbs that were 25 watts or less, which should have been in the description of the product. Obviously that is not enough light to brighten up an entire living room, and had I known that, I would have chosen a different product. ... show more
