This exceeded all expectations and if a 10-star rating could be given, I would. 1. High quality in design and construction. It has enough of the cone to protect without getting in the way especially through doorways. The cone part is durable yet flexible even when the door frame gets bumped. 2. It's comfortable! The inflatable part when 80% full of air acts like a soft pillow. My XL pup easily sleeps with it on (see photo). Mine actually likes wearing it! 3. It almost cleans itself because nothing sticks to it. I can spot clean with a baby wipe even the inflatable. I use a soft toothbrush and Dawn to clean the fabric trim around the cone with ease. 4. He can eat and drink from his raised bowl ... altho we remove because he's a messy eater 5. Easy to put together and doesn't slip off when securing with your pup's collar. This includes the air pump provided 6. It holds the air and stays inflated. After 10 days of wear, I have not had to top off. This is because of the special design of the valve. Again, great design! We are getting a 2nd one for our girls. I cannot say enough! Get yours today! I highly recommend!!

I was skeptical about inflatable e-collars at first, but this one with the PVC shield totally won me over! The inflatable part is super soft, so my dog doesn’t mind wearing it at all—no more struggling like with those hard plastic cones. And the PVC shield around the edge? It’s sturdy enough to block her from licking her stitches, but still lightweight so she can move freely. What I love most is how comfortable it is for her. She can lie down, eat, and even curl up in her bed without that awkward bulk getting in the way. The velcro strap adjusts easily, and it stays securely on even when she gets zoomies. I’ve tried so many collars that either didn’t work or stressed her out, but this one? She barely notices it’s there, and it actually keeps her from messing with her wounds.

This was great idea. Easy to use. Way more comfy then cone sent home from vet but as they mentioned padded cones with dogs who have longer snouts or more flexibility the cone needs to go past there nose a couple inches and this did not fully but more then other padded cones due to the plastic zip on attachment, to why we bought it. it wasn’t super easy for him to try and lick the wound but the area he had surgery on was an easier area for a dog to reach, he had an CCL surgery and an Aussie. We did have to keep an eye on him when he was awake and not drugged up make sure he was no licking the wound. Again it was difficult for him to reach it but he was close. Was nice to zip off the plastic to feed him vs. take the whole cone off. It does have fabric around the blow up part. It did start to stink so make sure and wash it. Great product for value. Functions easily . Easy to use. Didn’t seem to really loose much air. We had to use it for two weeks and I pumped it up a tiny bit twice. Size was almost what we needed but I’m sure it will always depend on the animal and reason.

Needed a cone for my 13 lb senior pomeranian mix while a hot spot healed. He has separation anxiety and obsessively licks his paws/legs. Tried 3 cone collars. One was clear hard plastic he could see through. It was easy to clean, comfortable for him, but too short. He could still reach his hot spot. Tried another that was longer, past his snout. It worked. But it was covered in waterproof fabric so he couldn't see out of it. He couldn't drink or eat unless I removed it. It was too heavy for his neck and he coughed when I removed it. It also made his ears hot. Also he licked the inside of the cone which was hard to clean and dry. This inflatable collar is the WINNER! I don't use the zip-on plastic cone piece, but glad I had the option, since I wasn't sure what work. This collar completely stops him licking his paws and legs (and also the collar itself). It took him about a day to get used to it, then he figured out how to use it as a pillow when he lies down. He actually rests more comfortably and has become less anxious...it seems to have a calming effect on him. I don't attach it to an actual collar. I just slip it on and off. Pros: Well made, well packaged. Comes with an air pump. Cover can be removed from inflatable inner tube for washing. Since it's filled with air, it's very light on his neck. He doesn't cough when I remove it. He can eat and drink with it on (had to raise his bowls off the ground a couple inches). He can see with it on. There's cushioning when he bumps into things. His hot spot is healing, and he's resting more comfortably.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is the third type of cone I have tried for my dog. The first one was the plastic cone only. That one cut his neck (first photo). I tried padding it but that just seemed to make it too tight/uncomfortable. The second one was an inflatable one only. Somehow, he managed to puncture that one. Then I tried to fabricate the “bodysuit” (second photo). That was impractical when he needed to go to the bathroom, not to mention tacky : ). Lastly, I came across this product (third photo) and my search was over. This is perfect for both of us. It is easy to use, it seems to be comfortable based on his reaction to it, it is durable and it hasn't caused him any physical harm. Also, he has no problem eating or drinking with it on.
