Very easy to pair, actually easier than the. Chamberlain unit I lost. It has worked flawlessly and has a longer range than the Chamberlain unit ever did. Only concern is the metal holder (clips on visor) tab on the back is designed for a thin visor, so I had to bend mine out to fit on my visor

I traded in my car that had a built-in remote in the sun visor for one that didn't. I needed only one remote, but at $5.00 each it was a lot cheaper to buy this pair of 891MAX remotes than one Liftmaster brand remote. Setup was clearly detailed in the info sheet that came with the remotes. Since my opener has a yellow "Learn" button, the remote had to be toggled to that working mode. That took about five seconds. Then I pressed and released the Learn button on the opener, then pressed and held the button on the remote until the opener light blinked. All done. I think it took longer to get out the ladder and open the cover on the opener to get to the Learn button than it did to set up the new remote. Since I had the ladder out I programmed the second remote to the same opener as a backup. If the Liftmaster remote for our other garage door fails later, I can simply program this backup for that door. The range on the new remote is greater than the range of the built-in remote on my old car. It uses a readily available CR2032 battery.

So many reviewers claim that the garage door openers don't come with instructions or that the instructions are bad. That's NOT true, see the photo I uploaded. Clear instructions and nicely packaged. It took less than a minute to change the working mode and pair. And this was a very good buy that saved me $$$ compared to big box store prices.

Have a brand new LiftMaster opener. Made sure these remotes are compatible. Spent an hour trying to program the remotes. Will not work. Not worth the trouble to return them.

I was seriously considering upgrading my garage door opener. It was getting to where my clickers wouldn’t work until I was almost in the driveway. Yes, the batteries were good. One day, I noticed that the button was hanging when I clicked if I wasn’t exactly in the middle, and sometimes it still got caught. $10 later with these new clickers, and I’m able to open the door from 4 houses away from my driveway. I’ve only had them for a week, but I highly recommend these. I think I’ll keep the old opener a while longer.
