This light is a little different than most of the roof top strobes. It is two bars of lights. One in front, and one in back with a light on each side. Most of them have a clear plastic dome over them, this does not. I like this style better, and it seems to be of higher quality than most There are several flash patterns with this one, that others don't include. There is a left to right, or right to left “traffic advisor” type patterns. There is also a pattern that starts in the middle, and sequences to both sides, among other strobe patterns. I like the included control that shows the selected pattern of the control face, so you don't have to get out and look at the unit on the roof. Very impressed on how bright the light bar is. Easy to install. Has the perfect amount of functionality of different settings. The size is perfect and is not going to be too big on the top of your vehicle. Quality seems to be very durable and able to withstand the elements
