I was about to rig up a set of cables for paralleling some batteries together for charging. This unit made it unnecessary. These modern "smart" chargers are a mixed bag. It's awesome you can connect them and forget about it - the charger will repair/desulfate/pulse/charge/trickle as required to maintain the battery... But they can also be annoying because they kinda outsmart you. For example, if the charger senses the battery is too low - it won't turn on at all. There are other times I wish the charger would simply WORK when I flip the switch... For my application, I have a seldom-used forklift that uses two big lead acid car batteries. The forklift lives outside and if I leave the batteries in the machine, they'll be stolen. So the batteries are installed/removed whenever the machine get's used. This charger does a good job of keeping them topped off and ready for action whenever needed. Overall, a good solution for me.

I always have different batteries sitting around from working with all different vehicles. So this charger is really nice to have. Everything it comes with seems of good quality. The clamps are nice and tight and clamp onto small things if needed. The charger is very easy to use. You pretty much plug it in and the charger will take over from there. You can choose the speed of your charge but if the battery is bad it's not even going to turn on. Seems very safe with many safety features to prevent any serious damage to the batteries or anything around it. What's also really nice is it charges either Lithium, LiFePO4,and Lead batteries. It will automatically pickup on what it is once connected.
