The unit appears to be defective. One channel fails to work. I emailed the company and they indicated that they will be sending a replacement. I wrote to them Friday and got a response Sunday night. I am pleased that they stand by their product, and look forward to maintaining my boat batteries over the winter in my garage. Small cost for $600 batteries. ... show more

    • Perfect for the job
We have a car battery jumper, you know the old type which is what I have known for so many years ,you know those ones you have to find a good Samaritan to help you use their car if the battery dies when you are out. Sometimes at home, we have to bush the car out from the garage for our neighbors to help us jump start the car. I recently had a dead battery issue, unfortunately our neighbors were not available so I have to call for toll services first of all, It is not cheap. The toll truck has this fancy case, I did not know what it was. Low and behold it was a battery charger, that looks so nice and he jumped my car within 2 mins. I told myself I need this and got to have some time like this. However, the fancy case type he has was way too expensive and I do not think I need that one. Anyway, I searched online and there were so many brands, prices and sizes. After many many days of research, I decided to go with this based on the price and the power voltage plus it comes in two packs. After 1 week I was able to use it on our neighbors car and it works perfectly. The direction was so easy to follow and I was so impressed with myself. I can not comment on the ability to repair the dead battery, because my neighbors were able to replace the battery because it was still under warranty. This is a good tool to have in hardy because when it is needed it is needed. I kept it where I could see it from time to time to check the power level, I do not think it would not be of any use if it were not charged.     • It says it’s a 10 amp charger, but will NOT charge faster than 6.5 amps
I have had this charger for a couple of months now and use it to charge my two LiFePO4 batteries which I use to power two trolling motors on two different boats. The biggest reason for the three star rating is because it will not charge any higher than 6.5 amps on the highest (fastest) setting. Often times, it is only charging at 5 amps. I contacted customer service about this issue and to ask if they sell any fast chargers. They were quick to try and sell me another charger, but never addressed my question about the low amps. This charger is nice in the fact that I can “set it and forget it” and not have to worry about over-charging, cold weather charging, or other issues that could damage my battery. For that reason alone is why I am keeping it; however, I would advise anyone looking for a “faster” 10 amp charger to steer clear of buying this one. ... show more

It works great but it should come with eyelets not clamps and the wiers need to be longer. Maybe have a better mounting system.

Arrived very protracted with shipping, arrived as advertised and works great. My battery arrived almost fully charged so only took 30 minutes to fully charge my 12V 100AH Lithium battery

    • Fast charge rate and extremely versatile
I had initially purchased a similarly priced device at my local hardware store and was disappointed by the relatively slow rate of charging. This battery charger doubles the number of available charging ports and offers a faster rate of current flow with a wider range of supported battery types. I was especially impressed with the battery repair function. I was not expecting miracles but [miraculously] it somehow managed to revive a dead car battery that I intended to dispose of back to perfect working order. It previously was unable to hold a charge for more than a day or two, with voltages rapidly dropping even when just sitting on the shelf. After a few hours charging in repair mode, it now consistently measures 13.1V when not installed and 12.3V when placed in a vehicle, just like when it was new. I was absolutely floored by this result. Had I known such a thing was possible, I could have avoided purchasing a new car battery and the device would have already paid for itself! ... show more
