I bought this dash cam for my car and I am truly satisfied with the investment. The installation was very straightforward; it was up and running in less than 15 minutes. This HD camera was purchased to replace one that was about 4 years old. There are already a few noticeable differences and improvements. Setup was easy: stick it on the front window and plug it in (but bring your own memory card). It boots quickly as soon as the engine is turned on and recording starts immediately. The wide lens capture more of the road than my previous camera. I tested the g-sensor by hitting the camera with my hand and it permanently saves the video. Night video is another improvement as well and very clear. This camera has a much smaller footprint and doesn't obstruct the windshield as much. The app is an improvement as well. It pairs without fail and downloads the recordings to my phone quickly. Overall, this dashcam is highly recommended.

This is a well done dash cam. For about a decade I've always had dash cams in my car because they're completely worth it for the peace of mind of having video evidence if there is ever a disagreement on what's happened during an auto accident. They've come down in price so there's no reason to not have one these days. This one records in 1440p, which is my favorite resolution because it's better than HD but still doesn't consume too much memory. Optics have a lot to do with the video quality, too. I have no complaints about this one and like that it's nice and compact. Being able to connect to it with wifi helps a lot!
