Installed this on my civic to get rid of the big old ugly air box. The install was extremely easy hardest parts was taking the old air box out but if you have any mechanical experience it’ll be a breeze. The overall quality is cheap but for $67 it does the job. The car definitely has a noticeable intake sound to it now especially at higher rpms. I hate the air filter they provided so I went ahead and ordered another mushroom air filter off eBay just to set off the look of everything. Overall if you don’t wanna spend $200-300 for a name brand cold air intake this is the way to go, it’s cheap but gets the job done, and who knows maybe it gives you a bit extra power but I highly doubt it lol. ... show more

Install was straight forward and simple. A couple things to note -no instructions for what the included drilled metal straps are for -no hose clamps for the breather tube -The welded mount on the tube doesn't line up with the original mounting bolt location on the engine. See zoomed in picture. I'll be fabricating something in the future but for now is just tie wrapped to keep it stable -used the original sensor grommet from the original box to attach to the tube -had to unhook the wiring for the plug to reach the sensor Other than these things the intake looks great in the engine bay. ... show more

The air intake fits well on my 2001 honda civic ex coupe, 1.7 liter. I had to take the tube that connects the throttle and intake and put the original oem tube over the new one to make it more snug and a tighter fit but other then that, the mounts line up and everything fits well, my car is running smooth and the sound that it creates from the intake is meaner/louder, its a good air intake, there is no oil for the air filter so you'll have to order some yourself but other then that I recommend this air intake, only took me 30 to 40 min to take out the old and install the new. I would give this 5 stars but since i had to use my old tube and also get the air sensor fitting from the old intake i give this 4 stars. The k&n filters are more expensive but they come with a cleaning and oil kit at least. ... show more
