First off I am against shock collars. This is not that. It lightly vibrates is all. But it’s enough of a gentle signal to let our dog know he’s braking too loudly. We only needed to use it briefly. Now she learned the leave it command with the assist of this collar. It’s small enough to be discreet and not heavy on her tiny neck. It’s safe to use. No shocking at all. It’s durable and sturdy and overall quality is good. Very easy to use and set up. And helped with the overall training effectiveness to teach our dog not to bark at every little thing. Now she only barks if we’re in actual imminent danger or a total stranger we don’t trust has approached. But now she is better around friends and family and neighbors where she sees we trust them. The collar wasn’t on for long. She learned quick. And now she has learned to make a quiet buff bark instead of going off like the crazy yapping dogs in our neighborhood. She’s still on guard and still doing what dogs do naturally. She’s just learned to control when it is necessary to bark loudly or when it’s ok to just quietly buff to let us know she’s uncomfortable but if we say it’s ok she’ll stop. And if we’re obviously not ok she will be more on guard. Overall great product.

I had little hope on this working for my strong headed pup. She is very much a "I'll do things my way" kind of dog (corgi). She's very sweet, playful, and has mastered many other commands except for "no barking". I tried other methods but unless I was right there to correct the behavior is seemed pointless. We also tried a shock collar but just could not handle inflicting pain. This collar is great, there's a few beeps and a vibration every time she barks. I know it doesnt hurt her but just gives a little startle. I have already noticed a huge decline in barking from her especially when she is outside playing with her other doggy friends. I literally just put it on her and let it do all the work of training her on not barking. Highly recommend.

Very nice product. It is small enough to not be cumbersome to my pup, but still effective enough to keep her 90lb. self from barking. I like that it is not a shock collar, but instead uses sound to deter her from continued barking. It's a very good tool, and I would definitely recommend. In fact, I am ordering a second one just to have as a backup. Great value for the money.

I wasn’t sure if this would help, but it really does. My dog used to bark at every little noise, and it was getting exhausting. We put this collar on and saw improvement within the first couple of days. It’s easy to use and doesn’t seem harsh. Just enough to interrupt the barking. Now he’s much calmer and only barks when there’s an actual reason. So far, very happy with it!

Update after 3 mos: it seems to have curbed our dogs barking but she’ll still bark at will anytime a delivery comes or if she’s outside and cold and wants to come in. Biggest issue is battery lasts maybe 10-14 days and I always forget to keep it charged, so effectiveness will be based on actively keeping it charged. Orig: Product seems great. It’s well made and easy to use. We got about 2-3 wks out of first charge. It doesn’t give many false alarms either and you can adjust how sensitive it is and how intense, from zero up to I think LV7. It’s a really great tool, but it alone won’t make your dog stop barking, at least it hasn’t for our Great Dane. If our dog wants to bark, she totally ignores the beeping and buzzing collar. I’d say it has created a training tool, and the dog seems to bark little less as a result, but if someone comes to the door, or if she sees a squirrel, etc she’s still gonna bark all she wants. Maybe it’s just our dogs strong will tho. Would actually work well for training a pup. Our dog is 10 yrs old. Tough to teach and old dog new tricks
