The scoop trowel is very sturdy and great for digging up ground for planting flowers with the serrated edge. It even cuts through landscaping fabric. The construction isn't welded like my old trowel, on which the handle broke off from the scoop. I just started using it, so I am not sure whether it will weather well without rusting.     • Very sturdy and strong
It is really well made and not going to be something that bends when you put a lot of effort behind digging. The scoop is also quite large and the teeth at the bottom make digging into harder soil easier.
