Very difficult to fold because of the size and weight. However, I definitely use it in my home and love it for that. It's super soft and very comfortable, as long as you don't mind the weight on your feet and legs. I do feel that if my power ever gave out and I had to rely on my fireplace for heat, this would keep me toasty warm no matter how cold it was inside or outside. This was a gift for my granddaughter and quickly became her favorite blanket. My only issue is that the two sides are not sewn together through the center so it gets wadded up in the dryer. I try to always dry it by itself because other clothes get stuck in the middle of it and won't dry.

The blanket is soft and comfortable. It is not quite sage, but more of a lime color. I haven't yet washed it so I can't comment whether the texture or integrity will change.
