My old wooden bed frame broke trying to support my very heavy completely latex mattress. So, I looked for a bed frame that could support a lot of weight. And also hopefully be tall enough so that I could place storage bins underneath to more efficiently utilize my space. This Metal framed bed met both my needs. While I was concerned over potential creaking, my concerns were wrong and the bed frame hasn't creaked at all. Assembly took a few minutes to get the hang of. But after going over the instructions, and laying out the parts, it was very simple.
