These are super heavy duty, industrial strength metal playground climbing handles. We got these steel metal climb rails for a treehouse and oh my they are strong, super strong. My 260 pounds man climbs up these rails and says they feel secure and solid under his weight. He has jumped on them on the tree and they didn't bend or budge. These climbing rails are made of an industrial hefty heavy duty steel with a rustproof powder coat finish that is smooth to the touch. The powder coat grippy texture makes these climb rails extra safe to climb and best of all they don't get hot in the sun. They have a spot on solid weld around each base and wide 2.76 inch mounting arm. The bar os 17 inches wide in total with a 16 inch interior dimension. These bars are a standard 1 inch thick tube diameter and conveniently comes with all the mounting hardware you need including anchors. We feel like for the quality tbe price is spot on.

Need monkey bar grab rails? These might just do the trick. This is a set of six metal playground handles as they are called in the title by the manufacturer. Each is 17 inches long, this set is all black although I do know they sell other sets with multiple colors. These can be used indoor or outdoor. Each grab bar seems solid, and at each end are plates and holes to mount firmly onto your structure. There are certainly strong enough, and they seem to be well-made. The only reason I took one star off is because they are essentially painted metal bars, and for playgrounds as this is advertised, I think they would have a longer lifespan and be more child friendly if they were powder coated instead of painted. Other than that, it’s a reasonably good buy for the price.

Surprised the kiddos this weekend with installing these, and they couldn't be happier or wait for the install to be finished. The handles came with no instructions or paperwork of any kind to provide instructions or specify the maximum weight, shear strength, withdrawal strength, or other limits for the bars or screws, so I had to spend an hr or so researching the safest method to install these inverted. I'd encourage users to research installation methods and bolt sizes and strengths to ensure a safe installation. I ended up adding stringers (2x4) to the joist using 4" structural screws. I used 1-1/2 lag bolts with locking washers and flat washers to attach these handles to the stringers, and the result is rigid. The bars/handles are sturdy: I'm 240 and didn't feel the slightest flex while going across them. Given their response to my weight, I have no concern that they'll hold up for the kids. Not immediately noticeable from the description photos is that the design of these bars is improved over others in that the part with the eye holes is perpendicular to the bar itself and is strong enough to prevent twisting or movement of the bar during swings/transitions across the bars. I was very happy with how solid they felt once in place, even while hanging and giving them a "bounce test." The powder coating feels mostly smooth, though one bar did have a couple extra bumps in the finish that we tried to scrape off to prevent it catching on skin--not uncommon for this type of finish. The finish is also tactile enough to add extra grip. Very happy with this product and absolutely recommend it.

These metal playground handles are so heavy duty and built to last a long time! They were so easy and quick to install and came with nice screws that won't strip out. They were the perfect addition to our homemade play set. I was a little disappointed that the part with the holes for the screws was sider than I expected, so it didn't work to put it on our 2 inch thick ladder sides, but it worked great where we ended up installing it. The handles are nice and smooth, and have a nice feel to them when you grab them. I would buy these again!

These handles are very sturdy and feel well made. The metal is thick, and they feel solid once installed. I purchased them for a play area project, and they worked exactly as expected. The black finish looks nice and gives them a clean, professional appearance. The handles are a good size for kids to grip comfortably, and the textured surface helps provide a secure hold while climbing. Installation was straightforward, and all of the handles felt consistent in quality. They seem like they will hold up well to outdoor use and active kids. These playground handles are as costly as they are sturdy. While they definitely have the safety factor (and the bright colors) down pat, they are quite a bit more than I would prefer to spend at over $9 per handle. At this price, I think it would have been very reasonable to have expected another rung or two at least. Thankfully, these do fulfill the need I had, as I now have anchor points for the kids to grab to fling themselves (or not) down the slides more safely, and without any splinters from the old wood dowels.
