Careful of dimensions. Its 16 inch overall but the screw holes for fastening do not line up with 16 inch centered studs. I lined one side up and then used the moly's on the other. Installation instructions were for a straight grab rail. You are on your own with this one. With just plastic sheettrock molys holding it, I can'i see it holding 500lb pull.
