I drive all over the state, so I’m not usually by an outlet. I use this to charge my laptop, and I have used it on occasion to print things (I have a portable printer). It works very well. I will mention, since I read some of the negative reviews before ordering that mentioned it stopped working after several months, I never leave it plugged in if I’m not using it to prolong its life. If it’s plugged in, the fan will be going the whole time. Also I don’t know if it matters, but I drive a large company van.

It does make a bit of noise. Completely stopped working on one 40 minute drive. Was okay the following day. Heats quickly, not sure how much air the fan is moving. Found that if I drive the car a couple minutes before attempting to use, it functions better.

I've got a generator at home I use during power outages, that has a battery to start but is flakey lately and doesn't do that. Pull start can be hit or miss. It has an AC trickle charger that lets you push-button start when its plugged in. Of course, this is useless if the home AC power goes out. I got this which lets me hook up the starter to my car during power outage as a reliable way to start the generator. Yeah, a bit of a mess, but it works perfect for a low cost when in a pinch.

Absolutely loved it, but wish the cord was longer. I had to move my car right next to the entrance of my tent and have the bed at the door to be able to pump up my bed while camping at Ren Faire. I was already stressed setting up the area by myself, and this just added to it. I still highly recommend, but just plan to bring an extension cord to use with it as well.

This is a very good product to have but you also need a really good battery in your car or an amp to continuously run this. It blew a couple of my fuses out in my old truck and in some new cars it used to much juice and I gotta wait for it to cool down to plug it in again to use it
