I really have nothing negative to say about this item. The build quality was significantly higher than I had original expected and the display pictures did not do it justice. I am hoping to get some better betters of this heater and a video of it in use soon and will update this review once I can grab those. Starting off, this think cranks out heat, quickly. For safety reason, the unit has to be activated first. When it is plugged in, it will show a red LED. When you press the power button on the remote, the light turns green. Then, you can press the 500, 1000, or 1500w power buttons to turn it on. But once you press then button, the filament instantly turns red/orange and you can instantly feel heat. The heater also comes with an very thick/heavy duty L-shaped mounting bracket. I ended up getting a second one of these brackets and setup mounting points in my garage and my back patio. Now, if we want to do something in garage, we just use some wing nuts to release the unit, take to patio, re-attach. Very nice and and easy. Main things to keep in mind: 1) The heat is very directional. If you are not standing infront of it, the heat drops off quickly. If you are using this to heat a space like a garage, this is not a concern because the total heat warms up the entire area very quickly. If it is outdoors, though, you have to keep in mind the very directional nature of the heat. If you have a larger space, you may need more than one. 2) When using the 1500w setting, which I think is the max allowed for mostly standard US outlets, it is recommended to not use other items on the same socket -- don't use a power splitter. When the 1500w button is pressed, the amps jumps and if multiple devices are on the same plug, there is a good chance you will trip a breaker. This is outlined in the manual, but just wanted to warn anyone in case they ran into that problem. So yeah, we love it and are actively using it.

Upon opening the heater, I found all items and the package were as described. Before installing this, I first tested it and as soon as I turned the heater on, it was extremely evident that this heater worked very efficiently. As soon as I hit the on button, the heat radiating from it was immediate. I wasn't sure of the electricity used to power it but after a few days I haven't seen any crazy jumps in my electricity usage. I also was worried it would blow the circuit that I plugged it into, but even on high it does not seem to draw a ton of power but does radiate a considerable amount of heat. Once I was satisfied with how it worked, I was able to install it to the wall pretty easily. I am looking forward to using this heater on cold nights throughout the winter.

Puts off a surprising amount of heat directly beneath it. Good for cool autumn nights. Just be realistic in your expectations. Easy to hang with included hardware.

This heater has three settings. It was high 30s low 40s when I tested it out. On high it had a nice output. I could feel it five feet away from it. It very directional in terms of spread. You won’t feel anything if you side step out of its spread. I need a few more of these in my yard. I don’t have a big yard but 3 or 5 more of these evenly spread out will make my yard functional all year round. The only thing I find annoying is that they don’t recommend it to be outside in the elements for long periods of time. I am going to look for a protective case that will allow me to keep it out there without having to unbolt it each time. Future design ideas would be a knob tie down to easily pop it on and off for storage. Also a pan feature so the direction could slightly be adjusted.

We have propane heaters but they cannot go under the ceiling of the porche for safety reasons, so we put them kind of close to the porche and it is OK… Now, this wall mounted outdoor electric heater is the solution we were looking for. It heats up basically immediately and it Feels WAY TOO GOOD! We thought it will be larger but it’s just perfect. The size couldn’t be better. Super easy to install and hang up. It looks well made but only time will tell. We absolutely love the fact that is for outdoor so no worries if it gets exposed to the elements. And we also love the remotes (2). We don’t have to move other than a finger to change settings or turn it on or off.

When I unboxed this, I was a tad intimidated - thinking it was going to be a real chore to install. But nope. It was pretty quick - just 3 screws into the wall, and a couple of wingnuts. Mine came with 2 remote controls (cool, but I can’t help think that was some kind of mistake)… anyway - it is simple and easy to use - one button to select the heat level and it heats up FAST. Just perfect for the backyard. Downside is, of course, that you need to locate it near an outlet … but this beats all the heartache those propane heaters always inflict on you. After using this one, I’m never going back.

We have an outdoor shop that has lights, but it doesn't have heat. This works great for that small space. It has three levels of heat, and it comes with a remote to turn it on and off. It was fairly easy to install, and I could do it by myself. I could see this being useful in a three-season room or garage too.

I have this set up in a small 10x10 shed and it has no issue heating the space in quick fashion. It's easy to install. Keep anything clear of the sides at least a foot out and in front of it for a few feet for safety purposes. This thing radiates a ton of heat and has potential to melt or catch stuff on fire if it's too close. It's a steady heat too, not like the variance you get from fan blown heat. The only thing I don't like is that it has no controls on the heater itself other than the power switch to ready it for use. You can't actually set the heat from the heater, you have to use one of the remotes that come with it. Thankfully it comes with 2 remotes so if you happen to lose one, you'll still have a backup. Truly the only downside is the reliance on the remotes to turn the heater on and cycle the different heat levels of 500, 1000 and 1500w. Other than that, this thing is fantastic. I can't say how big of a space that it would actually heat up, though for my 10x10 shed there's zero issue.
