    • HEAVY, has a carry handle and does what it says
When looking at the advertising photos where the claims are made about this product vs. the competition, it appears they are correct. The unit is made of heavy gauge material and is itself a very heavy piece of equipment at about 35lbs. It turns with a socket, has adjustable lock bar holes and even comes with gloves, a cleaning brush that i am not sure what it is for as well as a socket to turn the jack screw with. the carry handle is great to move it around with, otherwise it would be difficult to cradle and hold. I actually did not order this for a motorcycle but the heft would be great to keep one stable. I wanted it to have an adjustable support jack between the frame of my mid-rise scissor car lift and supporting things like transmission and transfer case when changing out mounts. I had previously used a regular car scissor jack but the handle used to turn the jack screw as difficult to use in a tight space. This one I can turn with a simple socket and is way more convenient. Used it to support he transmission when pulling the cross member on a Chrysler Aspen. has a wide lifting and base surface as well as rubber padding for the contact points.
