Incredible value, stunning picture, and the easiest setup ever!

I am absolutely blown away by this HAPPRUN projector, especially for the price! The fact that it has official Google TV built-in is a total game-changer. I didn't have to mess around with extra streaming sticks or messy cables—I just logged in, and all my favorite apps like Netflix, Prime, and YouTube were right there ready to go. The voice remote is also super convenient for quick searches. The picture quality is fantastic. At 1500 ANSI lumens, the native 1080p projection is bright, crisp, and handles 4K content beautifully. But my absolute favorite feature is the auto-focus and auto-keystone. You literally just set it down, turn it on, and it perfectly aligns and focuses the screen in about 3 seconds. It takes all the frustration out of setting up a movie night. The built-in Dolby Audio speakers are surprisingly loud and clear with good bass, though it's also incredibly easy to connect a soundbar using the Bluetooth 5.2 feature if you want a true cinematic experience. The WiFi 6 connection has been completely lag-free for streaming, too. Whether you're looking for an indoor home theater upgrade or something portable for outdoor movie nights in the backyard, this projector is a phenomenal buy. Highly recommend!

A Projector worth its cost - Excellent Picture and Audio quality!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this projector, but I’m really happy I chose it. The best part is the built-in Google TV. In the past, I always had to mess with extra cables or plug in my device just to watch Netflix, but this has many apps ready to go right when you turn it on. Setting it up was simple, and I had it connected to the WiFi and streaming my favorite shows within minutes. The picture quality is very impressive for the price. It has 1500 ANSI lumens, so it's bright enough that I don't need a pitch-black room to enjoy a movie. I also love the automatic focus and alignment, it uses sensors to fix the screen shape and blurriness by itself so I don't have to fiddle with manual dials. We’ve been using it on a plain white wall, and the 1080P visuals look sharp and vibrant even at a large size. While there’s a light hum from the fan, the Dolby speakers are plenty loud and clear once the sound kicks in. This has quickly made our living room feel like a mini-cinema. The remote even has a voice button for Google Assistant, so I can just tell it what to play instead of typing everything out. If you want a reliable projector that works right out of the box without needing extra gear, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Big Powerhouse in Small Formfactor

Let me start with the pros first. The projector is really small and lightweight. Perfect for backyard or temporary setup that moves around. Display quality is really good with images being impressively sharp and bright even in partially lit room. Sound is loud enough to use in a quiet environment. I personally like to use my bluetooth headphones which were a breeze to connect. I am projecting directly to the wall that doesnt have specialized paint and even have wall outlets etc in the way but given the brightness of the image, you forget about them pretty fast. Also, with Google TV as the OS, you dont need to plug in anything else to feed to the projector. With all Google TV apps natively supported, there is no shortage of what to play on this projector. Overall really happy with the projector. Now coming to cons: Sound could be better. Like I said I use my bluetooth headphones but thats not feasible if you have others in the room who want to watch. In this case, you may have to look at a dedicated sound option such as a sound bar or external speakers. Good thing is with bluetooth connectivity, this is fairly easily achievable. To my surprise, I didnt see any option to level the projector better. There are software controls to adjust the projection angle but it only offers more of a fine tuning than any major picture shifting. In my setup I needed to adjust the angle to avoid projecting on the ceiling and software controls could only move the projection slightly. With no manual levelling screws/option, I had to use a makeshift "bumper" to align the projection area better. Lastly, the remote. I dont know why but the included remote is unusually big for its use. Google tv remotes are mostly half the size. See the last pic. Granted it has projector controls such as focus etc but still the increase in remote size is something that makes me try to order a generic google tv remote and pair. Surely, I'll lose some dedicated controls but would be happy not having to deal with such large remote. Another complain with the projector is the positioning of voice control. Since you use the projector in darker setup, you need to rely on your muscle memory to move around the remote especially because the remote is not backlit. What makes its worse is Happrun chose to swap volume control to the right side of the remote instead of the left side which is essentially a default with other google tv remotes. Again, see last comparision pic to see how close the 2 remotes are except for the overall size and volume control (mis)placement. Outside of these minor usability/convenience issues, I think I have to give Happrun kudos for such a great product that blows the competition out of water handsdown when it comes to pure projection quality. Totally recommends this projector.

Excellent Smart Projector Bright, Sharp, and Easy to Use!

I’m extremely impressed with this HAPPRUN projector. The 1500 ANSI brightness makes a huge difference the picture is clear and vivid even outdoors in the evening. The 4K decoding delivers sharp detail, and colors look rich and accurate. Auto‑focus and auto‑keystone work quickly, so setup takes only a few seconds. The built‑in Google TV is a huge bonus. All my apps (YouTube, Prime, Netflix, etc.) run smoothly without needing an external device. Bluetooth pairs easily with speakers, and the Dolby audio sounds surprisingly good even without extra equipment. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and perfect for backyard movie nights. For the price, the quality and features are outstanding. Highly recommended!

A Really Nice Projector With A Few Drawbacks

I recently purchased this HAPPRUN projector, and it's a very good projector for the price. It's a Google TV product which makes set-up a breeze. You simply plug it in, sign into your wi-fi, it makes it's adjustments, and it's ready to go. It comes with many of the most popular apps already installed, which saves you the hassle of having to downloading them. but, if you want other apps, you can search for them and, if they're available, you can download them right from the projector. It has many nice features, such as, a very serviceable 1500 ANSI, auto and manual focus and keystone (adjusts to fit the projector space and to make the viewing area a perfect square), and available screen-mirroring and Chromecast. As good as the product is, it also has some drawbacks, which is why it doesn't get five stars. Xfinity Stream is not available as a downloadable app. And although the projector is HD and supports 4K, Fandango At Home and Movies Anywhere do not stream in those formats from the on-board apps due to contractual restrictions. They will default to SD, no matter the format of the film you purchased. An easy workaround is to use Chromecast to stream the movie from your phone to the projector. It will then show in HDX, which still looks really good. I only intend to use it for backyard movie nights, but, if this will be your main source of daily content viewing, a more advanced, and expensive, machine may be a better choice.

I’m totally hooked on this HAPPRUN Google TV projector—it’s made movie nights so much more fun. The picture is crazy good for the price. Super bright, sharp 1080p with 4K support, and colors that really pop even when the room isn’t completely dark. I just throw it on a blank wall at like 130 inches and it feels huge. Setup is ridiculously easy—it auto-focuses and fixes the angle in seconds, then Google TV loads up with Netflix, Disney+, Prime, everything right there, no extra dongle needed, and the voice remote actually listens. The built-in speakers sound way better than I expected with solid bass, but I also paired my soundbar via Bluetooth and it connected instantly. It’s quiet, stays cool, we’ve taken it outside a few times, and it hooks up to my phone without any drama. Honestly, it feels like a total steal and I’ve been using it pretty much every night—100% worth it, five stars easy!

Love this projector!

So stoked. I don’t have a projector screen, so using a near white wall. Very bright and vibrant image in a dark room, still good image quality and very watchable in ambient light. Google tv features integrated with Netflix, prime video etc. is great. Very user friendly interface. People say the fan is loud. It’s noticeable if you listen for it, but does not ruin the enjoyment whatsoever. I love the auto focus. I plop it down and it gives the sharpness I want without fiddling around. Check out my images and videos. I try to showcase how the fan sounds. Bear in mind my iPhone is right over the fan. It will not be a problem! This is my second Happrun projector. It’s noticeable better in every way. The last project was fine, this one is hard to beat for the price. I've spent about 3 hours with the project so far, and I am really digging this unit.

Don’t bother with Google play

So disappointed because of the price tax just for Google tv. This company offers better suited projector. Higher lumen, better speakers, so much cheaper priced variants with decent operating system than this Google crap. Google tv and its ecosystem just complicate setup into frustration. I have one of their other systems that was more affordable and I was able to plug, focus, minimal setup and play. Across the board, please include aaa batteries. Unit is inoperable without the remote. Today’s day either everything is rechargeable or manufacturer includes batteries. Especially if it’s for something actually required to operate your product. Great size but it’s a normal to long throw projector. Maybe getting 60” on a 6 for throw off a coffee table. Not cool or adequate for my needs for a college dorm.
