    • At last, no kinks!
I've only had this a couple of days, but so far, so good. I'm get aggravated by hoses that kink, so when the hose for my deck started leaking, I thought I'd give this design a try to see how it compares. The outer shell of the hose is composed of stainless-steel and closely resembles the hose attachments for a hand-held shower. The concept is the same, although the actual hose may be a bit bigger. This means that it's virtually impossible to kink the hose without destroying it. The steel shell means that intrigued pets can no longer chew a hole in the hose as well. Time will tell whether the stainless-steel design is impervious to rust, although by design it should be. Similar to the commonly available expanding hoses, due to the diameter of the hose, I'm concerned that the total flow rate is reduced when compared to a standard garden hose. For most purposes this shouldn't be an issue, only if you're working with a heavy-duty pressure washer that requires a significant flow of water, or when trying to add water to a swimming pool, etc. The connectors appear well designed and are easy to use. The product comes with an extra set of rubber washers, and a small roll of Teflon tape (which could be used when attaching a spray nozzle?) Again, so far I'm pleased with the hose for my particular purpose, and unless there's a negative surprise, I will likely order another longer version for use at the front of my house. ... show more

    • Wonderful lightweight hose
. My house is peculiar; there's no water spigot in the back, only on one side and the front. Needing more hose to reach my plants, instead of buying a new 75-footer, I opted for this hose extension. It's great! It even came with some Teflon tape, so when I joined the two hoses together, there were no leaks. I realize few people will use it in this manner, but I wanted to share my experience, and I really appreciated the included tape. The hose itself is made of metal and is extremely flexible and lightweight. Having only used rubber hoses before, I didn't realize what I was missing. I can drag it all over the place without any issues. Even my little kids can move it without struggling. And to top it off, my dog doesn't try to chew on it when I'm not looking. I don’t know if a garden hose can change your life, or even if it will, but it sure changed mine ... show more

To me this hose is very flimsy and they valve leaked right away. I did however keep the sprayer head as it is fairly decent.

I've tested several brands of these stainless steel garden hoses, and pretty much all of them are identical. The only difference is that some of the cheaper ones don't have the reinforced neck. They are relatively kink-proof, but not foolproof. The stainless steel is pretty thin, it can get smashed. Also it has a small rubber hose on the inside - which has a small diameter, and also is probably more fragile than the outer steel. I suspect the inner hose will fail before the outer hose. Keep in mind, due to the small diameter, the water flow will be slower than a normal hose. ... show more

This hose has worked out really well for me. There are other types of hoses that I have been having a lot of trouble with. This one is solid, light and easy to move from place to place. I was worried it might rust, but to date that has not been a problem. I went though a period of looking for hoses, trying to find the right one. I believe this is it. So far so good with this hose. It measured 25 feet, which does not go far in a yard, but it works. It is extremely light weight when compared to other 25' hoses and it rolls right back up without taking up any space. I put a photo with a dollar bill to show how little space this hose takes. I have used the other hoses that expand when filled and they never seem to last but a few months so I thought I would try this one. So far it appears sturdier, allows decent flow (our well pressure is set at about 85 psi and it does not appear that much is getting through, nor does it appear to be causing any stress) and is so easy to use. So far, so good. I love how easy this hose is to roll up and store. I also love how easy it is to clean when it's been dragged in soil. It's very easy to attach to a spigot securely and it does not leak whatsoever. I knocked the connector in the floor a few times and it didn't do much damage to the grooves and it didn't lead to leakage. This should be a very good long lasting hose. I have been using this for only a week but I a feeling really good about this hose. The stainless steel outside definitely makes it durable. The hose also doesn't kink up and easily stores away. Just from seeing the way it is made, I can see that it will make it not only through this season but I will have it awhile. I am so tired of replacing hoses that barely make it through a few months. This one didn't even show any scratches when it rubbed across my bricks! Definitely recommend and personally I am going to be looking for one for the front in with more than 25 feet. ... show more
