I don't have a way to haul my yard clippings to the yard site facility for my township which has lead me to pay people to haul away my waste, usually about $800 per year. I decided to do something about it and after thinking and researching I decided to purchase a chipper. It's one of my best decisions for the yard. I don't have huge sticks so it works very well to clean up or what I need it to. I was able to be a little creative for the thicker branches and was able to play with them to get them to go through cutting off some of the knobs where all the branches came out. It did take a while because they were quite sick but I was not in a hurry and it worked well. I got rid of two huge piles of branches that have been sitting around since spring and it ended up coming out to be two and a half plastic bins full of mulch. This mulch is not going to be like the mulch you buy in the store, simply because it's going to be natural colored and not colored like the dyed stuff you buy at the big box store. It is also a very small shred because the branches being fed through are not that big. I will probably put this on my flower beds and still buy some of the other mulch to give the look that I'm looking for but it should compost quickly since it is so small. I'm really thrilled with this machine it only took about an hour tops to get all this shredded up. The machine is very easy to put together and is very easy to move around. The only part that I was not fan of is the bag sometimes doesn't catch all the mulch so there was a small pile of mulch around the unit when I was done I did it on my driveway so I just had to sweep that area up but if you do it on grass it wouldn't be a big deal. In all the time that I used it it only jammed once and that was because I was putting a very large diameter Branch through just to see if it would work. It actually did an okay job but it took a while once I figured out how to get it to work on the larger branches. All my branches were very long probably 3-4 ft. I like that this unit has three blades on it instead of two blades and it's reversible meaning when it's not sharp you can flip it over and use the blade again. I don't know if this was a promotion or not but when I opened up the box there was a thing that said I could get three free blades so I did sign up for that I pretty much just had to scan a QR code it did not ask me for any payment for shipping and handling or anything else so I'm hoping that turns out to be correct because I'll have three brand new blades to use for future use which I really like as well because I'm not sure where I would buy bleeds for this elsewhere. It's a great machine I highly suggest it.

easy assembly , and easy to use, this shredder is for branches only, not for the big tree the feed seize shows it only takes 2 inch or less branches , very good quality and durability, solid for the money , really enjoy using this , I can produce my own mulch now happy whith this purchase

I’m so happy with this wood chipper! It’s definitely my smartest investment in a while—I really wish I’d bought it sooner! It’s easy to assemble, sturdy, and durable, and it chips wood with ease. So far, I’ve used it to chip freshly cut bamboo, as well as branches and bamboo that were cut about a year ago. It handled them all with ease! I think its performance is every bit as good as that of larger, more expensive gas-powered wood chippers.

This is my third chipper in 5 years and finally one that doesn’t clog every 5 minutes. I have a mix of dry fallen oak branches and fresh green stuff from my overgrown rose bushes, and with my old unit I had to separate them or it would jam constantly. With this one I just started feeding everything in together — dry, green, leaves, even some damp grass clippings — and it just kept going. The wider chute definitely helps. I also love that you don’t need tools to open the blade chamber. I got a piece of stringy bark stuck once, popped it open, cleared it in about 20 seconds and got back to work. Motor feels solid too, doesn’t bog down like my old brushed one. For the weight and size, this is a little beast.

Honestly didn't expect much from a 22-lb chipper, but this thing surprised me. Fed it fresh branches up to 1.8" and it chewed right through them. The real test was wet leaves and green vines – my neighbor's chipper clogs constantly on that, but this one pulled everything in without jamming. No pre-sorting needed. Chips come out really fine – more like sawdust than chunks – which is great for my compost pile. The tool-free cleanout is a lifesaver; got a stringy piece stuck once and cleared it in 30 seconds. Safety interlock works as promised, cuts power immediately if you open the hopper. Still loud (it's a chipper), but less rattly than others I've used. Assembly took 10 minutes. The 3-year support was what made me pull the trigger – most brands only give you 1 year. For the price, definitely recommend if you have a mix of dry and green yard waste.
