A nice, simple unit that is compact and easily transportable. After setting it up, I was thinking about how this specific model would work particularly well for a couple of different circumstances due to its size and quick assembly. For example: - In the backyard (of course!) if you're renting a home, or you're not yet ready to commit the time or cost of installing a more permanent stone fire pit. - For events. If you're having a wedding, party, or family vacation on a property that permits, but doesn't have, raised firepits/grills, this is an affordable option that you could send directly to the site. Or, maybe you're like me, a novice essentially looking for a "My Fire Pit" set. I've never had one, but always thought they looked amazing for those summer and fall nights! Assembly took 30 minutes, but would probably take half that if you've put together similar products before. There are no written instructions included. It's strictly photo diagrams. While, ultimately, I was able to put it together just fine, I did have to look at each illustration multiple times trying to figure out which side was which. When you have pieces that look so similar, with the only difference being the location of holes or slant of corner angles, simple written instructions (or even those stick-on letters that match the part to the diagram) would have made it a breeze. It comes with a metal grill grate that fits perfectly over the top. Measuring approximately 18 x 15.5 inches at the widest (top), it can comfortably hold two standard-size logs. Because of the weather, I assembled it inside and then carried it out to my backyard. It's portable, yet durable. All in all, it's pretty much exactly what I was expecting: a small, simple fire pit perfect for relaxing and chatting around with a friend while roasting marshmallows!

On winter weekends, it is really pleasant to light a fire in the backyard, eat barbecue, drink tea and watch TV. The stove is the right size. Usually there are only two of us sitting around, but when we go home on vacation, this size is suitable for three people. Firewood is easy to use and easy to make a fire. The only problem was that I ran out of firewood very quickly. I plan to buy some more and put them up to burn slowly.

This review is for the Trapezoid Metal Wood Burning Firepit Stove Backyard Patio Garden Fireplace as there are several options. Overall the firepit is a nice unit. I like the base underneath to contain ashes, and I like the overall construction of the unit. All is good there. I like the theory behind the grill topper, and I am sure I will use it, but there is no notching for it; it just sits there. Just have to be careful it does not fall off. Similar story with the overall unit itself. I like most parts of it, but I am unsure how much I will use it because it is so small. The trapezoid design is attractive, but it is only about 10" wide at the base. Have to be very select about the firewood I can use in it. Overall - a nice unit, but I would prefer just a little bigger and something to better hold the grill.

This is a nice basic firepit. It will keep your logs from falling out of the flame, but unfortunately without a screen going around the outside, I think you will be fighting sparks and embers falling out the entire time so don't even think about putting this near a flammable surface or dried grass. The grill is a nice touch and you should be able to do a little cooking over it.

I’ve never seen a fire pit that quite looked like this one so I was excited to have it. I like the height of it, it’s a tad taller than regular ones so you don’t have to worry about someone falling in! The openings in the side light up the night and keeps everyone around warm. I’m going to be using it for entertaining purposes, and this is the perfect one for the job!

I ordered this 15.7'' Trapezoid Metal Wood Burning Firepit to use during summer evenings. It took about 5 minutes to put together. Quick and easy. I can see the open sides being a curse and a blessing. They will let heat radiate from the side, but will also allow hot embers to fall out. I was happy to see the grate for grilling, but can see everything easily sliding off onto someone's toes. The grate just rests on top with nothing to stop it from sliding around. It's a nice tiny fire pit to have some conversation around, but can't expect too much warmth from it because of the size.

The media could not be loaded. Well this is easy ish to put together. The instructions are not very helpful, just read it to find out which way the panels go the rest is common sense. There was a whole bag of extra screws, and since the instructions were trash I was scratching my head trying to figure out where they could possibly go. I work at a hardware store so I get scrap wood and it burns hot, I figured the paint would come off right away, it did not. So far so good.
