I'm not an expert, and I'm not using this professionally, but As a regular homeowner that just got tired of expensive garbage plastic dehumidifiers that you have to constantly dump the 2 gallons of water from on a daily basis, this is a durable heavy duty replacement. Just taking this out of the box you can tell it is more of a commercial dehumidifier. After the past 6 years of fighting with gravity drains that decide to fill the bucket instead of the hose, filter clogged messes & units that just don't turn on when the humidity gets high, this has been working perfect. The control is not rocket science, but reading the instructions made it easy to understand & use. Noise is less than the units it replaced. I'm tracking energy usage, with a smart plug, and it's lower than the energy star model it replaced It's only been a little while, but my wife pointed out the musty smell is already gone in our basement. I'll update or change this if I have any problems. For now, I'm loving it! Spend a little more money now, you'll be happier in the end.

My unit started to cycle on and off about 10 months after installing it. I contacted the company by phone and they walked me through trouble shooting the problem. After going through the trouble shooting recommendations it was determined that the humidity sensor wasn’t working properly. Promptly sent me two replacement sensors even though I only needed one. Kept in constant contact with me via email and offered me compensation for my troubles. Unit is working correctly again and really does a great job at keeping the humidity in my crawl space 45%. Great company to deal with as they really stand behind their product and do everything they can to make sure you are completely satisfied.

I bought five of these for 5 rental properties that I had encapsulated. They are extremely quiet and you may not even notice that they are on while you are working in the crawl space. Noise doesn't penetrate into living area and they seem to keep the humidity under control easily in my 1,000 sf crawlspace.

I did my research and purchased the Moiswell MP70 after comparing to several other brands and products. It is the right size and offers all the features I needed for a dehumidifier for my crawlspace. It comes out of the box ready to go, all I had to do was put it in place, adjust the feet, hook up the drain line, and plug it in. The built-in pump was one of the main features I was looking for, along with the size and capacity for my large crawlspace. After about a year of use the pump wasn’t working properly so I contacted Moiswell for support. They provided guidance for me to try to diagnose if it was a simple stuck float and after determining it was a faulty pump they replaced the unit. I would highly recommend Moiswell and the Defender MP70, they also have other products depending on your need and exceptional customer service.

I bought a MP70 dehumidifier and the only reason I am not giving them a 5 star review is because the unit stopped dehumidifying after 11 months. however, i contacted Moiswell support & they were very quick to reply and asked me to do some basic troubleshooting to determine exactly what was wrong with the unit. After I tried the their troubleshooting steps and provided them my results, they determined that the dehumidification system failed and they offered me the following options. In this case, we have 2 following proposals for your consideration: 1. A Full Refund: This will be processed via your order and credited back to the bank account used for the purchase. Please confirm that this payment account has not changed recently. 2. A Replacement Dehumidifier: We will send you a replacement dehumidifier for free, with delivery within 7 days. If you choose this option, please provide your address and phone number so we can arrange prompt shipment. 3. For the old one unit, you don't need to ship it back to us, sorry for the inconvenience. I asked if the replacement unit would be a new unit and if it would carry the remainder of the 5 year warranty. They responed that they only sent out brand new units and that it would still be covered for the remaining 4 years. I opted to have them send a replacement because the unit works really well in my 1795 sq ft basement. I received the new unit, installed it and it is working great. It is hard to get actual customer support these days and I feel like they did a great job and got me a replacement unit without a hassle.

I bought this moiswell crawl space dehumidifier almost 2 years ago. I have had other brands but they were loud, noisy and not as much water volume extraction. This Moiswell is very quiet, can not even hear it running from up stairs. I bought a remote monitor since I was not sure it was running since it was so quiet. The best thing I ever did, I can see the humidity down below, the temperature and shows when it’s running and draining! I highly recommend the remote monitor as well. This unit reduces the humidity very fast, 145 pints. I did have the humidity monitor malfunction recently but their service department was very prompt, polite and they are sending me a new sensor, free. Great service! After several other brand purchases Moiswell out ranks them all!
