  • Love the Bluetooth
Style: Wireless Color: Black
I was recently visiting my brother out of state. He has an impressive 1500 records in his collection and listens to them daily. I enjoy records, but my record player is in the family room. My home is not open concept, any I lead a very busy mom life. I thought about how I'd like to listen to records but never have time to sit down in the family room and listen. I have speakers installed in my kitchen ceiling because we often listen to music when cooking dinner, doing dishes or eating. I considered different ways of getting a record player into the kitchen but didn't think having one on the kitchen counter where I could plug into the wall amp would do. Lucky the wall amp has Bluetooth as an option, so I ordered another record player for the dining room/kitchen area(this one), ever left the other one in the famiky room. I set it up and then Bluetooth connected to the amp and speakers easily and now I can listen to records where and when I typically listen to music: in the kitchen. This is my 2nd record player from this company. My other model is not a Bluetooth version. I went with this brand because I found my other one too be reliable, and to have good sound quality. Anyway, this is a great Bluetooth turntable. I love it. ... show more

  • bluetooth is worth the added price
Style: Wireless Color: Black
bought for my moms cabin bluetooth allows one to listen to turntable with earbuds while the stereo plays a CD or radio nice !! also if you have no stereo you can sync with a bluetooth speaker ... there is no volume on the turntable so the earbuds were loud for me but if using a speaker most if not all have volume control I like the one button play very easy to set up no adjusting the tone arm it is pre-set just have to place platter drive belt around base motor pulley and you are good to go there is a switch to make the RCA jacks either phono or regular depending on what input you have on your stereo. I used regular meaning the turntable internal preamp was used and it sounds fine functions are start > plays a side stop> lifts needle returns to rest and stops platter and last function is raise lower tone arm > press to raise position over desired track push again to lower there is a size lever and a speed button plus a bluetooth sync button ... show more

  • Great until I realized it is playing too fast
Style: Wireless Color: Black
Works well and sounds good. I like the automatic part of it. Also, it connected very well!.....However, I knew something sounded a little off when I played the records. It took a couple of weeks to figure out but it is playing too fast on 33 (would probably be the same on 45)! I know there are a couple of holes on the bottom where you can change the speed but since this is new, it needs to be perfect and I'm sending back and ordering the same one again. If the issue is the same, I will search else where. Play your record with the same song online and it should not be gaining on you. Really can mess you up if you are trying to play along with guitar, harmonica, etc. ... show more

  • Love this record player!
The media could not be loaded. I got the lilac one and absolutely love it. It's a very subtle color but still pretty. The record player itself is awesome. I love that it has Bluetooth output so i can connect to a Bluetooth speaker. I'm currently using a JBL flip 5 (I think) speaker and love the way it sounds. I did a lot of research from lowest price (vintage victrola but very worried about records getting scratched) to up to $500, but i just started getting into vinyl records (wanted to stick lower than $500). I grew up with a dad and grandparents who loved their vinyl and this brought up some amazing, loving memories. It also reminds me of my childhood when i used to listen to cd after cd in my boombox. Theres something really nice about just playing a record by an artist and listening to all of their songs. I was missing that over the last several years where I just streamed music and only heard the more popular songs. Its nice having the physical record and cover to display too. This record player brought me back and has all of the things I was personally looking for. I think it's great for any level you're at and awesome if you're just getting into it or getting back into it. I wanted Bluetooth, manual and auto play options, anti skate and just a reliable record player that would work well without damaging records. This one covers all of that within a reasonable price. My daughter has a suitcase record player which I'm not a fan of how the music sounds from the built in speakers. She loves it though (I did get her some accessories to keep her records safe like an acrylic slipmat which helps with balance and sound too) I'm not an audiophile and I don't know all the musical terms. I do know I like music that sounds good and thankfully my Bluetooth speaker has a good sound, that I personally like. I listen to music constantly and love it. It would drive me crazy if it didn't sound good or right. I did look into lower priced record players that didn't have Bluetooth but I'd have to purchase speakers that hook up which would defeat the purpose of a lower price. It would have cost more to get a cheaper record player and speakers. Now if you don't have a Bluetooth speaker, this could add up. I do still think it's worth it, in my opinion. If you're not looking for Bluetooth, I think their non Bluetooth version of this player would be a great option. I really love this record player and am very happy I went with this one. Audio Technica seems like a great company that makes quality products and looks like they make replacement parts easily accessible if needed. Now to build up my collection and work on a nice set up for the record player and records! Update:still love but there is no power button. You will have to unplug it if you don't want it on while no record is playing. I don't mind this since it's plugged into an outlet that's easily accessible. There is a switch on the back to switch the setting to a speaker hook up so you could switch to that if you need the Bluetooth off *played back the video on my phone and it does sound slightly different, there is no static or odd noises that play out of it. It's clear and sounds great in person* ... show more

  • I instantly fell in love
Style: Turntable and Portable speaker Color: Black
I had been looking at a turntable for a pretty long time, one that would match all my interests and this one was perfect. Modern appearance, great sound quality, light enough to place at any surface in my room and just perfectly aesthetic. I love the fact that it was incredibly easy to set up and the auto play feature is great. ... show more
