  • Bluetooth connection to speakers easy!!
Color: Gun-Metal/Black Style: Standalone Turntable
Decent turntable. Like any audio component you can pay a little or you can pay thousands. I think this is a pretty nice turntable for the price. The setup was easy except getting the band around the little nub goes a little tricky. I had to replace the rubber band back on turntable because it came off the first time I was trying to do it. It connected 1st time to my Bluetooth speakers. Playing and old scratchy record but the sound is darn good even with the scratches. Can't wait to go through my albums. ... show more

  • Love this record player! Love this record player!
Color: Lilac Style: Standalone Turntable
I got the lilac one and absolutely love it. It's a very subtle color but still pretty. The record player itself is awesome. I love that it has Bluetooth output so i can connect to a Bluetooth speaker. I'm currently using a JBL flip 5 (I think) speaker and love the way it sounds. I did a lot of research from lowest price (vintage victrola but very worried about records getting scratched) to up to $500, but i just started getting into vinyl records (wanted to stick lower than $500). I grew up with a dad and grandparents who loved their vinyl and this brought up some amazing, loving memories. It also reminds me of my childhood when i used to listen to cd after cd in my boombox. Theres something really nice about just playing a record by an artist and listening to all of their songs. I was missing that over the last several years where I just streamed music and only heard the more popular songs. Its nice having the physical record and cover to display too. This record player brought me back and has all of the things I was personally looking for. I think it's great for any level you're at and awesome if you're just getting into it or getting back into it. I wanted Bluetooth, manual and auto play options, anti skate and just a reliable record player that would work well without damaging records. This one covers all of that within a reasonable price. My daughter has a suitcase record player which I'm not a fan of how the music sounds from the built in speakers. She loves it though (I did get her some accessories to keep her records safe like an acrylic slipmat which helps with balance and sound too) I'm not an audiophile and I don't know all the musical terms. I do know I like music that sounds good and thankfully my Bluetooth speaker has a good sound, that I personally like. I listen to music constantly and love it. It would drive me crazy if it didn't sound good or right. I did look into lower priced record players that didn't have Bluetooth but I'd have to purchase speakers that hook up which would defeat the purpose of a lower price. It would have cost more to get a cheaper record player and speakers. Now if you don't have a Bluetooth speaker, this could add up. I do still think it's worth it, in my opinion. If you're not looking for Bluetooth, I think their non Bluetooth version of this player would be a great option. I really love this record player and am very happy I went with this one. Audio Technica seems like a great company that makes quality products and looks like they make replacement parts easily accessible if needed. Now to build up my collection and work on a nice set up for the record player and records! Update:still love but there is no power button. You will have to unplug it if you don't want it on while no record is playing. I don't mind this since it's plugged into an outlet that's easily accessible. There is a switch on the back to switch the setting to a speaker hook up so you could switch to that if you need the Bluetooth off *played back the video on my phone and it does sound slightly different, there is no static or odd noises that play out of it. It's clear and sounds great in person* ... show more

  • Absolutely outstanding performance!
Color: Black Style: Standalone Turntable
Totally worth your money. I'm not audiophile but have had multiple music systems to know a bad one. The sound quality on this one is amazing. I did buy the Bluetooth Edifier speakers and the combination blows high end audio equipment out of the water (for $500). Excellent Bluetooth compatibility and easy to set up. 5 stars! ... show more

  • Good Enough
Color: Black Style: Standalone Turntable
For the price, it works fine and delivers nice sound. The build quality compared to old school record players is "cheap" by having so many push button plastic buttons, there's barely any metal on this player, but this could also be the sign of the times. The bluetooth option is only to be linked up with bluetooth ready speakers, it's not a bluetooth "hub" to let you play your device through it to go through the stereo, unfortunately. For whst it is, it's ok, just expected a better quality build. Not sure how long it will last, but I don't use too often so it's tough to say. ... show more

  • Slightly overpriced, but exceptional sound quality and convenience
Color: Red Style: Standalone Turntable
So I had the opportunity to compare this $200+ turntable to another highly rated and stylish one by Retrolife that costs a lot less ($130.) It was really difficult to choose between the two, but after a good deal of hands on use, I opted for this one for only two reasons - it sounds better and convenience. The Retrolife is a gorgeous turntable and larger. It has more features, including an adjustable counterweight, USB out to PC, and a decent stylus. But it's also manual and the biggest annoyance is needing to be near it when the record ends. The Audio-Technica is also good looking turntable but smaller and there is a LOT of cheap plastic. Most disappointing is the low very quality toy-like feel of the buttons and switches. I also had much more difficulty getting Bluetooth to work on the Audio-Technica. I eventually gave up in favor of a cable connection. Between the two, I opted to keep the Audio-Technica for only two reasons: the sound quality is notably better and the automatic operation. If RetroLife could offer better sound to match the Audio-Technica and add automatic operation it would blow the Audio-Technic out of the water. ... show more

  • I love this record player and am very impressed with it
Color: Lilac Style: Standalone Turntable
This record player is beautiful and sounds great. I wanted to purchase a quality player that would be able to both hook up to my surround sound home theater stereo system as well as my bluetooth speakers. I purchased the one in lilac - and it is so cool looking! I am very impressed! I will say that the instructions were not at all good. When I received this product I got 4 pages of - mostly other languages and pictures with no words. I had a hard time figuring out anything about this product including how to even get it to work. I have no idea what the bluetooth name of it is, It took me forever to figure out why it wouldn't turn and spin, and also when I tried to play the record after figuring out that I had to actually "INSTALL" the belt on the spindle - it wouldn't work right. I thought I had broken the needle of it as trying to remove that cap it just popped right off and I couldn't get it back on. Eventually I figured it out but all of this could have been avoided had I had a decent set of instructions. That being said, I figured it out and got it to work. I still do not know what the name of it is in the bluetooth selection, but my bose speaker just picked it up. I am not sure how to pick it up on other devices. It does play on both my receiver and the bluetooth speaker, however they are not in sync, there is a delay to it. It is nice to be able to listen to it in different rooms, but again, they are not in sync. Overall, I love it. It is great quality and much better than the less expensive cheap suitcase models or off brand products. I trust the Audio Technica brand name. It is not the top of the line but it is the best quality record player I have ever owned. I did struggle a bit with the decision to purchase this belt driven model rather than a direct drive, but I decided for my use it wouldn't make sense to spend the additional money on the direct drive. I give it a 5/5, but warn you - if you purchase this item allow a couple of hours of tinkering to figure out how to get it to work even if you have experience with audio equipment having worked for 3 decades in the music industry such as myself. I have actually used record players for my job for many years, and I struggled to get it set up. Again, sure wish instructions would have been provided by the manufacturer. Good thing I am smart and was able to get it to work. Once I did, I have to say, I LOVE IT. I played records for HOURS after I got it working. Its so nice. ... show more

  • Huge step up from a basic Crosley player for barely more $ Huge step up from a basic Crosley player for barely more $
Color: Black Style: Standalone Turntable
I’m no audiophile and only bought one record in my youth (Tool’s ‘Aenima’ and only because it came out a week before the CD—had to use my girlfriend’s dad’s player to listen to it), but like many I decided to get some vinyl during the pandemic. Collection is too large now and I can’t stop—perhaps you can relate. ANYWAY, I got your basic Crosley at first, which was okay enough. After a few years records started dragging a bit and I could have tried a new belt but decided to level up a little instead. Such a good decision—this Audio-Technica sounds amazing to my ears, warm and full (helped by new, slightly serious speakers), and more than that, the automated features are life-changing. Starts the record in the exact right place without me bumping around to find it? Check. Ends the side automatically so it doesn’t play the run-out groove forever? (Or god forbid play until it starts scratching and screaming?) Check. Push button to raise the needle at any point cleanly? Yes. I have no complaints—this is a perfect mid-level player for an intermediate vinyl lover like me. Maybe get this before you drop $900 on a Technics, see what you think. ... show more

Wonderfully simple to set up, easy to use. I forgot just how good vinyl sound is. It is connected to our stereo via Audioengine B1.
