Great Customer Support. I purchased the Moiswell Defender M70 in July 2024, and it worked great until just recently when it was failing to remove moisture from the air in the crawl space. I reached out to the company using the support link at Amazon and was amazed at the quick response and support that I received. I made email contact on 5/15/2025 and after answering some questions, providing photos of my unit, and running a test they asked me to perform, they determined there was something wrong with the dehumidification system.     • Lots of choices online. Ultimately, it is all about robustness, and only time will tell!
So far so good....the real test will be longevity! Set at 45% RH, and monitoring with two wireless sensors this unit has been keeping my crawlspace at about 50% RH throughout, even with >80% RH outside. Customer Support seems responsive. Prior to this I had a cheaper Amazon-purchased upright dehumidifier (Ivation) that worked really well for a surprising 5 years. I am interested to see if the 2x difference in cost makes a difference. ... show more

It’s a really nice unit, the only issue I have with it is the drain port is not ready to go for permanent installation. I used a 5/8” tubing from Home Depot with camps and a barbed adapter for the pvc connection.

Very happy with the performance of this unit. It did lose its coolant, but the warranty covered a replacement. I can’t say enough good things about the customer service. With a few quick questions a new unit was delivered to my door. Would highly recommend this product!

It has been a year and a half since ordered. The unit worked great but unfortunately developed a copper pin hole leak and the freon leaked out. I contact Moiswell they compensated me for the issue. Has been working perfectly since day one and I believe will continue to work well long after the ones that cost half as much have quit. The cheap, poor quality components -- like the humidistats -- installed in those sold as residential models last just long enough to get through the warranty period. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on this one; you'll save in the long run. ... show more

All high quality and performs as advertised. Just would have preferred a more significant drain hose. Unlike the rest of the well built design, the drain hose is smaller and more fragile than I'd have expected.
