After I used it a few times I kept hearing the connection beep and got a message on my Mac that it was connected but was not charging. I sterted a return and wrote a review . . .then I thought to try another power outlet and it worked. I cancelled the return and removed the review. Then on the very next cycle it failed again ergo this review and the return of the item to Amazon. Won't work with a Mac Book Pro M3. Frustrating because the screen kept going dim and charger turning off then on again and ended up buying an Apple charger. More expensive but the Apple works.

This charger looks and feels okay, but when I plugged it into my laptop, it got super hot, like too hot to touch. Not sure if I got a dud but this doesn't inspire must confidence or trust that I can connect it to my super expensive laptop. Perhaps it's safer/better to go with Apple OEM here.
