I ordered this laptop for my wife for Valentine’s Day. I purchased it for next day delivery, I ordered it around 3pm on Valentine’s Day and to my surprise it showed up by 11am the next morning!! Once I received it I opened it and it’s in perfect quality, it works, looks & sounds incredible. Only one tiny little blemish on the side of the laptop which is so tiny you can barely see but other than that it’s perfect. Terrible experience with this “refurbished” MBP 2018. Out the box I noticed it was silver which I ordered space gray (listed as space gray on the label and on my order) had multiple scratches on the bottom and top of the computer which I figured is fine and ignored. Then I plug in to charge and turn on, screen looks great and start going through the set up process and come to find out that this Mac is MDM protected by Netflix. Tried to contact Netflix and Apple about it and received no help. 0/10 experience. Considering the scratches, wrong color, no protection in shipping box, and non functioning. I payed around 650usd for this computer, I was a bit skeptical at first because of all the bad reviewed. First of all, the MacBook did have significant scratches and heavy signs of wear on the keyboard (look attached picture). Keyboard is a bit faulty, double spacebar is an issue, but I also had a brand new MacBook Pro 13 once that had the same keyboard issues, however, I mostly use an external keyboard to type so its not a big deal for me. The did send me an original charger, which is nice, and also the screen was completely flawless, no issues with it. One thing I consider absurd is that the battery had 1254 battery cycles, nonetheless battery holds up pretty well. Overall the machine works just fine, but I wouldn't call it an excellent condition refurbished, more like an "acceptable" state. Update: So after aproximately 3 months of use I can say this was a pretty solid purchase. Aside from the obvious wear, the laptop itself is reliable, battery lasts for a nice 4-5 hours while working on it. Increasing rating to 4 stars because I am obsessed with how much better this laptop is than my 2022 lenovo Legion 3 (I do a lot of software engineering stuff so I like nice screens and battery life over gaming performance). ... show more

When it arrived, the MacBook was very well packed! This is my third Renewed Mac from Amazon. So I do know that there are going to be some minor defects or issues. That being said….honestly, I was impressed! It’s almost like new…with a small problem. When I went to remove the sticker on the laptop,(it had a sticker for inventory I’m assuming) the whole sticker and back portion of the screen aluminum side started to peel. Now, I did wonder why it felt a bit different than my other macs….and this was why. I really don’t think the seller did this on purpose, rather it was done by the original owner? To be fair, it was well done, almost didn’t notice it, until I started to remove the inventory sticker. Still not a deal breaker. Underneath was one scratch, most likely from normal use. It’s not a big deal, nor does it affect the how it functions. The MacBook is running in the latest OS, which I downloaded with no issue and also installed all my necessary programs with no problems! I do have a program that does bog it down sometimes, but I really feel that it’s how I’m using it not the MacBook. My only concern is the battery. Seems to die rather quickly for a Mac. But again, it’s mainly used at home for my music programs…and it’s very easy to switch out an old battery or memory on these machines (hint hint). The screen is perfect, no blemishes or scratches. And the keys show the tinniest wear, again, not a big deal. It did come with a new charger and cable! Brand new Apple charger! A big win! The last ones I bought came with aftermarket chargers and cables. Like I said, small minimal blemishes that really don’t affect performance and it looks amazing! I also did add a protective cover…Smokey gray! And it looks very elegant! Update! Still working just as well as the day I bought it! Worth every penny!😃😃😃 ... show more
