I was honestly nervous ordering a used/refurb MacBook, but this one exceeded my expectations. The MacBook Pro arrived well packaged, fully functional, and exactly as listed. Specs were correct (16-inch 2019 model, i9 processor, 32GB RAM), battery health is excellent with low cycle count, and the SSD SMART status is verified. No MDM or device management issues, no hidden problems, and no signs of abuse. Cosmetically, it’s in great shape, and performance has been flawless so far. The speakers, display, keyboard, and trackpad all work perfectly. It powered right up after charging and passed every check I ran. Shipping was fast, required signature (which I appreciated for a high-value item), and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. If you’re hesitant about buying refurbished, this was a very positive experience. I would absolutely buy again from this seller.

Macs Depot was true to their word. As this was my third refurb, the first two with other third-party sellers, that isn’t nothing. This was an “Apple Late 2019 MacBook Pro with 2.6GHz Intel Core i7, 16-inch, 32GB RAM, 1TB Storage, Space Gray” - which came with the entry-level 5300 graphics package. The first had defective ports on the left - a 2017 MacBook Pro; and the second was sent with the wrong hard drive, a 2018 MacBook Pro, both with similar specs to this one. This 2019 unit is in very good working order, with minor ware in the area around the touch pad. The screen isn’t “cherry”. It wasn’t absolutely spotless - but no scratches at all. It’s a beautiful screen. No dents, no major scratches on the casing. A beautiful digital “axe” to chop with. The internals seem to be excellent, with the rig running much cooler than I might have expected after watching a hundred YouTube videos on the 2019 thermal upgrades (new heat sinks and heat-resistant adhesive, and reworked cooling channels). That is why I went for the i7 rather than the i9. The i9 is great, but even with the new thermals, it seems to run too hot. The i7 was better matched to the new thermal arrangement. I have not benchmarked this entirely yet, but I’ve had three Intel MacBooks in two months, and this one is the best one. Although if either of the other two had worked, I’d have probably been happy with those. Go for the 2019 unit. They don’t cost that much more, and the changes Apple made to these in that year were significant. Plus they’ll recieve updates from Apple that much longer. Whatever person did this refurb evidently knew what they were doing. So I want to thank this anonymous Macs Depot technician for the loving care they put into restoring this little data beast, and Macs Depot for employing them. All that being said, this is only the first week - so we’ll see!

Sold me a defective laptop. Sent it back after being told they would fix it or replace it. It's now been 2 months. They havnt fixed it and won't ship it back. They gave me a tracking number last week saying it was shipped already. Ups doesnt even have possession of my laptop. They still have it. They do a poor job of replying. They're claiming they can't fix my laptop cuz I didn't log out of my apple account. Yet they knew the screen didn't work and insisted I send it back for them to fix. This is scam. This company does dirty business. Do not buy from them.

although its renewed, the mbp looks like it could be brand new, there are minor scratches /nicks on the outside but nothing noticeable at a glance. the specs arent exactly what i ordered though...which is why i rated 4 stars. the processor speed is actually 2.3GHz and the listing i ordered said 2.6GHz. the listing also said it was an i7 processor but the mac i got is an i9. the storage (1tb) and memory(32gb) size is the same as the listing at least. the specs kinda matter because i do graphic design and 3D work. just be aware that the mac you receive may be of different specs than the listing. my mac also had 452 battery cycles and the battery is in normal condition. all of the keys on the keyboard are functional as well as the usb c ports. the mac was a bit dirty when it arrived, im guessing from being worked on. but i just cleaned it up with cotton rounds and alcohol & its all good. i bought a different usb c charger since the one it came with was too hot and made me nervous to use. also, the sellers have been very kind to me and are quick to respond to messages which is really important to me, so thats a plus. it was shipped overnight and arrived early morning.

Beautiful laptop! But the 5, T, G on the keyboard are not working. Debating if I should return it. But the return time on top of the time spent to get the new one makes it a difficult decision. I have my business and my college work in here already. Just writing the review to be honest. Also, the charger wasn’t big enough(watt wise) kept getting extremely hot. Had to order a bigger one. I mean, $690 for a $3800 laptop… kind of knew it was too good to be true. But, might take it to a shop to have the keyboard fixed. Internet says $150-$200… ehh. The MacBook itself is EXTREMELY elegant. MacBook gets 5 stars. Seller gets 2(just to be clear).That’s what makes my decision so hard lol. Anyways, hope this helps the next buyer. Toodles

Computer is as ordered. However, the charger was non-functional. I complained on this format and a person called me and told me that if I took down the three stars grade then they would send me a functioning charger. More than three weeks has passed an still no charger. Very bad service after the sale. How do you keep a laptop functional without a charger?

Incredible value! When I ordered a renewed laptop, I fully expected the average wear and tear to be present. What arrived looked as though it just left the factory. I can’t find a scratch, scrape or buff anywhere on it, body or screen ( and I’m fussy ) It runs flawlessly, and looks like new.
