Fits and works great. Only note is i swapped the filament guide bearing from the stock idler arm; this replacement arm has a standard bearing instead of the 'grooved' bearing that comes on the stock one. Not sure if that's 100% necessary but seems to me that the grooved bearing guides the filament better.

Works much better than the original plastic arm. One suggestion that I would make is to swap out the flat bearing with the grooved bearing that is used on the original. Saw many reviews complaining about this and figured that would be the cheapest and easiest fix. Since swapping the bearing I've had no issues.

The pivot hole opposite the thumb tab is a shouldered hole that holds the pivot bearing. The arm holds the bearing correctly and the bearing fits the shaft, but the smaller hole is too small to clear the pivot shaft. This would have been an easy fix if I had not assumed it would fit and tried to install it as received. It got stuck (hole too small) and I had to do more disassembly in order to get it off. Once I got it off, the fix was simply to drill out the hole to clear the pivot shaft. The hole size is not critical (as long as it clears the shaft) because the bearing does all the work. Be sure to carefully clear out all the debris after drilling as any small chips remaining could cause problems later. Once modified, the arm works perfectly.

The original, plastic idler arm was leaning very far to the left and not feeding filament correctly. Technically is wasn't broken. Maybe bent? Thanks to another reviewer for pointing out that the bearing is flat on this unit, which is not correct for the Artillery Genius. I had to destroy the original idler arm to remove the bearing but was able to install it into the metal idler arm without any problems. Overall this unit is well made and instills much more confidence when feeding new filament. I also learned a lot about my printer while making this improvement. I took the opportunity to do maintenance, clean and tighten everything. The printer works better than new at this point.

This did work on my Artillery Sidewinder. You do need to be sure to remove the barring that it comes with, or the barring that is already in the sidewinder extruder.

Replaced the OEM idler arm with is one. Printer is having no extrusion skips now. The printer a lot quieter with this installed.
