I have purchased a 12" and a 16" Reliaroads saw and I must say that they are reliable and do a terrific pleasure to use. Easy to use, good power, easy to clean, easy to add oil, and weighs much less and is smaller than a gas power saw. Not as powerful as my old McCullough gas engine one but i didn't expect it to be, and I'm not as young as I use to be either. ReliaRoads also has a great customer support department. I like both saws but I like the 16" better because that's what I"m used to using.

I'm not a lumberjack. But I am the kind of guy who looks at a few dying 40-foot-tall trees and says, "Hey, I bet I can take those out myself." So I ordered this 12-inch chainsaw to get the job done. In retrospect, I definitely should have gone with something beefier. This thing is meant for medium-size limbs, not medium-size trees, though the bar is just barely big enough to do the job. I successfully felled all three trees and trimmed the branches, though I ran into problems cutting up the trunks: I wasn't careful slicing into the center of the last tree, and I managed to split the end of the bar and pried it apart enough that the chain (and the gear that feeds it around the end) slid right off. I've been trying to bend the bar back into place so I can finish the job, but I might have to cut my losses and upgrade to a bigger saw. Aside from trying to use this for a larger job than it's intended for, I've found it to be perfectly acceptable. Build quality isn't great - the black rubber grips started peeling off the yellow body after just a few hours of use - and it uses WAY more bar oil than other electric chainsaws I've used. It also burns through batteries a little faster than I expected, though that's not a big deal as long as you've got several batteries to work with. The biggest thing it's got going for it is price: man is this cheap. You get what you pay for, but as long as you only need a simple saw for trimming branches occasionally, this will do the trick.

I have owned several chainsaws in my life but I have never seen one so poorly designed. It is almost impossible for one man to put the chain and bar on correctly. I did get the chain and bar on correctly but after a few cuts the chain would jump off. I did this a few times before I decided to return for a refund. I had the Dewalt 20 volt batteries and that was a good selling point for me but the chainsaw just too bad to keep.

I thought this is gonna be cheap because of looks just like a Dewalt. If I had a Dewalt sticker, I could probably put it on it. Nobody would know I’d give it five star cheap price. Craftsmanship seems to be pretty good. Something that you would find a more expensive chainsaw definitely worth the money.

Powerful saw for its size. Well balanced. Oil leaks out of cap when making sideways cuts. Major problem is customer support. Long delay in responding and they keep asking for additional details, like proof of purchase and pictures or videos. I asked about file size and filing angle for the chain. After several emails, they said to purchase items directly from them. Second query about oil leak finally got a response to wipe saw after each use. Too bad a good product has such poor customer service.

Great product for a great price, don’t expect to cut down an oak tree with this chainsaw but it is great for cutting logs and trimming up trees. I actually cut out a bunch of bushes and even cut down an arborvitae. Overall I’d buy this product again

The chainsaw worked well and cut pretty fast with a 6ah. The biggest issue is the chain size is extremely uncommon, I personally can't find any online so the saw has been sitting. Edit: found a replacement chain. Overall great chainsaw but it would be better if the manufacturer also sold the chain
