Haven’t bought a bad 13 fishing rod yet. Action is spot on. I know it doesn’t matter but it’s also beautiful. Only issue I have is how they ship. All the 13 Fishing rods I’ve bought have all come “floating” in a square box. The box was crushed when it got to me. Luckily no damage to the rod. Very happy with the the rod itself and the action. The grip seems to get slick very easy. On the rod at each eye were the wrap and clear is, it is turning a very dark yellow color. I am sure this is from the sun but it has only been on the deck of the boat for 3-4 trips for total of 15 to 20 hours tops. I know at this point it is not hurting the performance as to the rod, but should not be doing this. Wonder how it will be after 6 months to a year...? I have other 13 rods and love them. Awesome rod, well worth the money. The shipping of the rod it horrible!!!! Need to ship rods in tubes not just thrown in a box with no added protection!!!! First rod showed up snapped in half, replacement made it, I don't know how the box was bent in half but it did.

I own a few rods in this price range. Favorite white bird a Shimano slx and bass pro shop brand rod. They don't compare to this quality and sensitivity. This thing really is amazing at this price..
