I'm a professional in the AV world, and the receptacles on this item doesn't seem to accept the standard screw, at least nothing I already have in stock. Wish they would mention the screws needed or include them with purchase. Otherwise it seems to function as expected.

I bought a 2-pack of these to break out HDMI from a device inside a larger box. I chose these because of the screw mounts. The screws were included but very short, and out of the 4 screw receivers (2 per adapter), only 1 actually accepted the screw to the head. The others made it less than halfway then just clicked when I tried to turn them. The threaded metal inside the sides of the device looks thin and cheap. After pulling the screws back out, little pieces of black plastic fell out. I will probably go with another brand I found, or maybe I will try to drill through and out the back and then use a larger, longer bolt with a nut. I will not buy these again.

While they are well made, they forgot that simply inserting a nut into a plastic hole *without* connecting the back side simply lets the screw pull the nut out. So that, when you think you have fastened the coupler, the first time you push in your HDMI cable, it will push the coupler away from you. So, they are not worth anything. I drilled a hole through the back of both wings and inserted screws to hold the nuts, however, that then decreases the depth of the thread for the screws from the front. The nuts should have been the type that have a threaded shaft on the back side that is fastened with a nut and washer. Just like they do with DB9 & DB25 connectors. Sorry.

Would have been nice to read in the description if screws came with the parts. Or, could the seller at least left a link for where to buy screws for these? Kinda tough to upgrade a VGA coupler without standard size (or at least provided) screws.
