This thing is awesome and kinda dangerous. Very powerful and incredible torque. Lightweight. Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to add weight to it. I’ve used it to till the ground in my chicken coop and backyard that is very hard solid black clay and it chews through like nothing. Very impressive. I’d recommend some locktite for the bolts tho. Also, it’s either full throttle or off. But it will do the trick and do it well.

Powerful little tiller, gets the job done for sure. I used it on a garden bed and also to break ground on a new garden bed. It handled both areas with ease. My teens enjoyed using it after a safety lesson. They said it was a good arm workout. Cord management was not bad as I was working and it took 5 minutes to put together.

I bought this tiller because I needed something small and light weight to work in a smaller garden area, and be able to lift over a fence. I bought the 12" model. It weighs only 20 lbs, draws only 10.5 amps so a long extension cord was not an issue. It was easy to assemble. It is insanely powerful. So powerful that it can easily run off when going forward. For me, it was much easier to control pulling backward. The last tiller I had was a large, heavy gasoline unit with a drive clutch. This tiller is very powerful but it is an entirely different experience. My sense is the more you use it, the more you will like its small size and power, but it does take getting used to.

The media could not be loaded. Used and worth it! Perfect size. My small stretch was worked up a while back to about 5 inches with a drill cultivator. I worked down to 10 inches now. Heavy enough, yet bucked a little in the hard soil. I had 10lb leg weights I used for the drill tiller. Those worked wonders. I just let it sit and dig. Dug through new hard spots and widened perfectly. Used cost half as new. Simple 2 x 10lbs leg weights are 20ish here on the river. Easy to move with a nice handle on top Very easy to (dis)assemble and pack away. Shipping box is heavy to store for next time.

This little tiller is a workhorse. Went thru my hard packed clay soil like butter. Allows you to get deep into the soil or lite tilling using less pressure. It works best for breaking up the hard packed by walking backwards. You can also swing it from side to side once the soil is broken up and it gives you a more level surface, thus reducing the raking. I’m 135 pounds and was able to maneuver it very easily. One serious design flaw are the J hooks used to secure the handles. Because it bounces around a lot the black wings are constantly coming loose and the handles turn. I went ahead and added bolts to the unused second set of holes on the lower section. On the upper section where the handles attach there is only 1 hole. I abandoned the J hooks and secured the handles with a bolt and washers. This was an easy fix, just a design flaw. I highly recommend this small tiller.

Purchased this "electric cultivator" not really knowing what to expect. Delivered early. 10-minute unboxing and assembly. Its light weight belies its toughness. I'm in east Tennessee. The ground is hard clay with imbedded rocks and roots. This cultivator tore through the sunbaked clay with ease. It spit up rocks and cut through roots. I let it settle in at about 6 to 8 inches deep, then let'er eat. I was preparing a seed bed for some lawn renovation. I made multiple passes to pulverize the soil then used it to mix in some black topsoil. Worked great!! I have about 100 feet of block retaining wall for my next landscaping project. The 12" width will be perfect to loosen the soil for easy removal with a shovel. Beats doing all that excavation by hand. I kept the box to store it in. Initially I was going to use it and then sell it. Now I can see all kinds of uses for it. Money well spent.
