I ordered this and got it the next day. Love the smoke color vs the white lids, subtle light in but vey nice. I've installed these fans before and this one was even easier. It fit right in the Heng standard little fan hole, which is 14x14. Wiring was easy. Remember when taking the old cover off, not to cut too deep on the old lap sealant. You can get some good lap sealant when you order this fan, we use koree and have for a long time. Half the price of other in store sealants. Back to the fan. the small Heng fan that we had, made more noise than it moved air. This new fan is very quiet even on it's lowest speed. They give you an extra screen also just in case yours gets damaged. This fan also has an easy remove round screen to clean any bugs that get on it. That's a nice bonus. I got the standard crank one without remote because this was in an area that's easy to reach. The controls are so easy to use and set speeds and air flow. As soon as I turned it on, the air coming through on low was excellent. We have a fantastic fan in another area of the coach and it's loud. This one is so quiet, makes me want to swap it out with another one of these. The fan feels well built from the vent top to the fan and surround. it came with all of the hardware. You just can't beat the price and material build.

I don't have pictures as it is not fully installed yet, but close... I had just a vent in my trailer bedroom, and the little crank thingy died on my last trip. Went up, and then would not come back down. I knew there was a light about a foot from the vent, so figured I could probably get power to it, and decided a fan would be really nice. This is not a quick install. The install was not bad but getting the old one off, without damaging the roof was a task. Be ready to scrape, pry, scrape, pry.... and eventually it will come off. The one installed at the factory has a bunch of screws, so you will spend time finding and then pulling out those screws, and then usually it is "stuck" with a ton of caulking. Once the old is out, you want the edge as smooth as possible, but you will never get all the old caulking gone so you just make it as flat as possible, and then use a lot of caulking to put yours in. Once all your new screws are in, you just add a ton more caulking. Nobody is going to see it from the top, except for you, so I think the idea is that "more is better." For wiring, I used the little slide over splices, allows you to connect a wire to a "through wire" without having to cut and use wire nuts. We didn't know which was positive, which was negative, but I read in the instructions that if you wanted 3 "in" speeds, and two "out" speeds, you just hook up the wires backwards. Unknowingly, we hooked it up backwards and have 3 "in" and two "out." I had enough wire that I could reverse those, but honestly does not matter to us, any fan is better than no fan. The interior shroud I still have to cut and install. Wanted to leave it off for a few rain storms just to make sure we didn't have any leaks. Since we have a slightly sloped roof, I will need to cut that at an angle to make it fit. This was expected and not a big deal. It slides up and in, so if it is not perfect, you will not see it. And after several hours on the trailer roof, thought I would leave that for another day. So it is 90% installed, and moves a lot of air. Certainly will make our camping trips more pleasant. Noise is reasonable, you hear it, but not loud. And while it may not move as much air as a few of those more expansive well known brands, the price is certainly reasonable and still moves quite a bit of air in or out.

This fan works really well in Southern California. Early June mid June 2025 as I write this review we had a few days in the middle to upper 90s here and I did not have to use my air conditioner even though I have no shade on my RV whatsoever. Instead of using my air conditioner, I use this to draw air in from the outside from the roof and I thought it would draw in very very hot air, but it seems to while on my roof, not be too hot I guess anyway I've gone several days that last year I would've used the air conditioner but this year since I have this fan, I can get air blowing. It's a good fan. It could be a bit quieter, but it's not bad. Update Aug 1 - I've saved more on electric than twice the cost of this fan already this year.

I did not know they make so many different makes of this vent until I started looking on Amazon. What I noticed is most of them have a very small motor so people are complaining about airflow. This one had a really good rating and people were saying it had really good airflow Pros: It has excellent airflow more than you’ll ever need. Great for those days where you burn the toast. There are three speeds to vent the air out of the trailer. The high speed works excellent at moving a lot of air. Medium speed is somewhat quiet and about what we normally set it on. Low speed is silent but still works well. To bring the air into the RV you have two speeds medium and high. When the fans run and reverse the airflow is not exactly the same as exhausting the air outside of the trailer. I would say it’s about 60% efficiency bringing the air inside the trailer. But it still works very good and it’s good airflow. If you’re shopping for an exhaust vent this is an excellent quality model. Unlike most of them that are on Amazon this one here is going to move the correct amount of air you want to move. I noticed most of these on Amazon have undersize motors that only are a few watts. So beware if you’re shopping for this item. But I highly recommend this model it performs excellent. I can exhaust the air out of my trailer now very quickly if I want to put it on high.

Very powerful fan. Moves air very fast. Leave one window open and you will feel the flow of air. Quiet and seems energy-efficient. Install was OK, my ceiling thickness was to thin. Had to get creative. Only needed to make up 3/8". Ran on hi for 8hrs with only 1 bar loss for battery. Would recommend and alot better price. We will see how it last. Seems made well.
